Every version crashes. We aren't talking about a program thats all that sophisticated. This shouldn't be happening.

Best tool for developers

I use this app all the time, Its so amazing to log problems that you come across all the time. Half of the time i check this before i go to stackoverflow which saves me time!

Desperately Needs Groups/Sharing/Team Aspect Built In

This app has a beautiful interface, but if you work on a team of coders it’s impossible to share. You have to restart it toget any updates through a Google Drive/Drop Box sync. Really, really needs sharing.

iCloud sync works fine. Nice tool.

Another reveiwer said iCloud sync doesn’t work, but I decided to try the app out anyways. iCloud sync seems to be working fine. I chose this app over Dash because Dash seems too focused on documenation and not focused enough on basic editing of snippets. Text expansion would be a nice feature, but for me it’s not a big deal.

I have really enjoyed using this application. The developer has been very quick to respond to suggestions and feedback. One such thing was adding a keyboard to Copy the currently selected snippet into your paste buffer. The next one that has really improved my productivity is the Alfred Workflow that can be optionally installed.

Incredibly useful

I bought this app a while ago and found it incredibly useful, but all of a sudden it just started crashing everytime I open it, with no error or anything. Based on other reviews for the previous version I know that I am not the only customer experiencing these crashes, and I was very frustrated to find that this still has not been fixed with the latest update! Please fix this becuase right now this app does nothing but annoy me and take up space.

Great tool! Not perfect, but the best I’ve tried

I’ve tried most of the code snippet apps out there. This one is one of the better ones. I’ve tried quiver, boostnote, and Dash. They all have something I like but none of them have it all. This app seems to be native so performance is great, and I dig the “Fragments” or tabs for each snippet. Which allows for you to have multile file types for each snippet. And has nice integration with Alfred (requires a little setup); and the quick drop down from menu bar is great!... I’ve noticed reports about not syncing to iCloud. I haven’t logged into my account so I dont know, but I sync with Dropbox/Google Drive anyway, so it’s a non-issue. My only two gripes are the inability to format the code within the editor ie: Highlight code > cmd + shift + backspace to align code to the left; and the themes. All of the themes are basically slightly lighter/darker than the previous. Beautiful UI, just don’t like the syntax highlighting. I would like to see something like Afterglow/railscast, or better yet, custom CSS file to create our own. Looking forward to future updates.

UI is nice, but thats about it

I really wanted to like this app, but after constantly losing hours of work due to syncing issues, I cannot rely on this app anymore.
