Reviewed on 3/10/20 1:43 PMThere is a heck of a lot here for only $9.99. Great editor, I especially like the linked files drawer and live preview. I doubt the day will ever come when one can get a drag and drop html generator coupled with an editor such as this, but that would be the Holy Grail of web design.

Reviewed on 3/10/20 1:43 PMjsut downlaoded it and tested it quickly and from what I can see it does exactly what it should do. It’s a basic editor. I used Dreamweaver for years and now just need to edit a few things from time to time. I think this will work great!!! Robert
Sneakers55's Review of Hyperedit
Reviewed on 3/10/20 1:43 PMHyperEdit is a nice, simple HTML editor. I did have some trouble bringing over files created on a Windows machine. I’d occasionally run into a file that opened as blank, yet Safari could read it. After some experimentation, I discovered that a number of ANSI character strings had to be converted to their escaped versions, like cent signs, quote marks, and accented letters. Once I understood that (I’ve been editing almost 300 HTML files over the past month) I was able to work with it with ease. It gives me total control over the HTML. The split-screen preview of the file you are editing adds a lot of functionality. I’ve tried two other HTML editors, both more expensive than HyperEdit, but I HyperEdit is what I go back to because it works!

AppleFan.123's Review of Hyperedit
Reviewed on 3/10/20 1:43 PMThis is a great app. It does exactly what it says it will do. It doesn't say it is an FTP client, it doesn't say it writes HTML for you. It is an editor. This app is really great, it has helped me to learn CSS because I can see immediate feedback of everything I type, which is extremely helpful.

Reviewed on 3/10/20 1:43 PMNo help available anywhere. Sorry, this looks like an awesome editor but shame on me for not looking at the dates of the other reviews. I get a Text Encoding Error "Cannot write data using your currently specified encoding. Please try changing the encoding in the options window.” I try to change “western Mac OS Roman” but then run into all kinds of errors.” I would take this review down in a second or chnage to 5 stars if this was fixed.

Reviewed on 3/10/20 1:43 PMHyperedit is exactly what I've been needing for learning to code for the web. I love that as I make code changes in the left window, those changes are reflected instantly on the right. I can't think of a better way to quickly learn coding for the web. This app delivers! Also I'd like to add that Tumult's customer support is top notch, they've already provent that to me.
