Very good, very fast terminal emulation. Intuitive setup for folk familiar with cli. Very easy to import keys and configure hosts. Support for multiple color themes similar to those found in common desktop terminal emulators. mosh support is really nice. It is a little pricey but I definitely prefer this to some free or cheaper alternatives. I had been using Cathode for a while and look forward to this replacing that as my daily driver for terminal needs. My one very minor gripe is that when using the apple magic keyboard and swapping caps lock for control they caps lock led still lights up. If any of the devs see this and can fix that that would be pretty neat. It isn’t a real big deal and the swap functions as intended but looking down occasionally and seeing the green light turn on and off is a little annoying.

this one app takes the iPad from a toy consumption device to a pro level developer tool... best app ever made for the iPad. Thank you for making this app.

The core functionality works well and mosh support is useful. But some features feel sort of thrown together. For instance, how do you remove a theme after importing it by accident? I don’t think it’s possible.

I love the idea and I want to love this app but paste sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t, and ssh for hosts set up with keys via config apparently doesn’t work at all. The repo suggests this is a known issue, so I’m disappointed it wasn’t mentioned in the description for a paid app. I will spend more time trying to get it working, because I think it has potential, but for now I would warn you this is an experts-only app, if you’re not comfortable running ssh with -vvv then wait for it to mature.

This app is the swiss army knife of iOS. I was initially hesitant to purchase the app, given the high price, but it is definitely worth it. It comes bundled with several standard *NIX commands, including ssh (and friends). What really impressed me, though, is that the app provides an easy way to copy my public SSH key for use with EC2. I barely had to fiddle with any menus and could get straight to work by using already-familiar tools. No other app I have tried has such a simple, well thought out design.

scp doesn’t bother asking for the key passphrase. For all I know, it can’t even find the SSH key, as it’s not in the .ssh directory. Does not provide a real shell, so eval `ssh-agent` is impossible. Changing the key passphrase in the config command is impossible as the option is unmplemented. ssh-keygen -p crashes the app outright. For whatever reason, SSH key files aren’t in the standard .ssh directory. sftp is literally just a copy of the same broken scp program, not an actual SFTP client. This sort of fakery is completely unjustified. It makes the app look much better on an initial viewing without deserving that.

No way of deleting key. Hence, locked out of server when key changes. Drops connection all the time.

I’ve been using this app for several months now after switching from Prompt. It’s simply amazing, the way mosh sessions get restored between device reboots/jetsams is like magic. It also works really well with hardware keyboards.

Unfortunately, I found Blink _after_ I had tried every other SSH client (paid apps) out there.. After hearing about mosh, I decided I should give Blink a try and it does not disappoint. Of all of the clients I’ve used, this one is definitely the one for power users. It’s CLI-centric interface is robust and works great on iPad Pro! Love it! Keep up the good work!

The only thing I miss from my previous client is macros / code snippets. It's tedious to have to type long commands that I frequently use. Still, it's a great app and shows a lot of promise!
