Another business card / contact app with useless features that doesn't do the basics welll or has the functionality that busy professionals with lots of contacts need. First, Apple's contact management system is weak and shouldnt be dependent on by anyone who values their contacts and uses them professionally. A good basic contact management system has a desktop or well-working web services that syncs with the IOS app and from which one can control what goes into Apple's contact system via sync or vCard exports that maintains the grouping. Groupings and easy correction of OCR misreads are a must. It's that simple. This program does none of this. Don't bother! And don't make the mistake of buying their Mac program - totally inadequate, buggy, doesn't work.

This version is junk. Automatically requires choices to be made with no way to decline. Earlier version worked great, this version Baaaaaaad!

It would be difficult to express how dissatisfied I am with the update. The earlier version was intuitive and straight forward. I care nothing about your "dashboard " features and have no desire to learn them. Why do I want to open this and then go back to the app and get the info smh. It used to be u copied the signature line opened this app copied in the info and bam you were finished. A perfect example of tinkering with a great product and killing it.

After using this for months and losing my cards several times I'm moving in to another app. Could be an great app if it didn't lose my data. Even my backups within the app were not available.

I used to really like this app but now I am shooing for a new one. Functionality has gone down the tubes and it looks like this might be a google system now. Not good if you don't use google. Who in business has a google account?

This app has been of great used to me in the past, which is why I bought the full version. Now, with the latest update, I can't even figure out how to use it. The app interface has become cluttered with all of these new capabilities, but it's no longer workable for the main task that I purchased at four: to add contacts by way of taking a picture of a business card. I've given up on it and I am sorry that I paid anything for the full version when I did.

This used to be a good app. It was reasonably quick and easy to use. Unfortunately the latest update has ruined it. From the constant “tips” which there is no obvious way to switch off, the lack of instructions and the much worse OCR, this app is now next to useless. Shame.

I have used a lot of other apps but this one is the best one if you plan to be successful! Great developer who is constantly updating to make the app even more efficient.

Please fix the app. It can't update!

Just what I was looking for! I use it everyday all day. As a salesman, it takes the place of carrying around all the business cards! I have people ask me all the time what app is that, and I tell them worldcard!

I found this app to be VERY user friendly. Take the picture, select save (you can make other adjustments, if needed) and you able to immediately view the info. This is a clean & neat app. Not too many extra buttons. I truly recommend this app if you need an app to save & retrieve business cards.

Updated -9/26- thanks for the fix, app works well now 9/25-Can you please fix the save to outlook when you take a picture of a business card? This was the reason I bought your app in the first place and I am very disappointed that it does not work with iOS 11. Most people do not use Gmail sync for business contacts, so forcing us to do it is not helpful.

Plain white business card with dark font and it won't recognize it? Come on! And every time I try to edit, it crashes. Piece of crap spent $10 on the app originally. I'll likely try Evernote instead.

Latest version crashes as soon as you go to save any picture of a business card and recognize the text. OCR works okay but often puts information in the wrong field. Ok app when it worked with prior versions but needs to be enhanced.

Buyer beware. The product does not even come close to delivering what they are selling. It does not properly sync with gmail contacts and constantly crashes. According to the representative I contacted, they are aware of the problem. But likely have been for some time and just don't care enough to fix it.

I used WorldCard for many years but this update blew away all my contacts.

Yes, I can sync with Google contacts if I give it access to all my Google data and rights. But the inability to add to the iPhone contacts is inexcusable. It's nice as an independent app, if that's what you want. Has good recognition.

Tried the app after a couple years from last time. Tried to synch with google contacts. It asked me to upgrade to google+ and redirected me to a google page in Chinese. Must be a scam

Picked this up and used it for a while. Small issues came up after an update, doesn’t really work now - zero instructions & support.

Previous I was able to sync with my iPad. Need to come up with work around or fix.

I had used World Card for several years. It isn't perfect, but it has been a quick way to get business cards into my iPhone contacts, which in turn synchronize with Outlook. I was reasonably pleased with the way it worked. In the latest update, I was asked for permission to sync my Gmail contacts which I did not wish to do. It gave me no choice in the matter. As a result, I deleted the app from my phone because I have no interest in allowing it undefined access to other applications. Because the app gave me no choice, and I had no idea what it would do with data from my Gmail contacts, I considered the security risk unacceptable. When this was fixed and I noted that it now worked with iOS 11, I decided to give it another try. I just spent 30 min trying to scan 2 cards. The first wouldn’t auto crop. Finally it did. The second I never could get it to recognize, probably because the text is written in the opposite direction as usual. After being fooled twice, I am going to buy another app.

Used to be a great App. Now with iOS 8 and my iPhone 6 Plus it crashes when it's launched. Basically a piece of junk.

I have tried most of the business card scanners, this I by far the best and still provides a photo of the card with the contact.

- after clicking on the card image, app freezes up - cardholder feature was removed. It was nice to be able to swipe through the card images

Absolutely phenomenal card recognition, even the most cluttered and disorganized layouts are instantly and accurately parsed for all contact fields. Synchronization with laptop is a few seconds at most.

I'm a light user. I only had a few entries which I had not exported when I upgraded to the paid version. It wiped out my earlier cards! Beware! Otherwise, I am happy with the app. That's why I upgraded.

I used to love this app until the new update changed everything. The lack of, or non functioning sync ability with my iPad is a deal breaker. Though I still use the app until I am able to Find a suitable replacement, it is nothing like it once was prior to the recent update. I wish they would take away whatever they did to allow the sync function to work again.

This is been my go to card scanning app, but it doesn’t seem to work with the update to the latest software. I can scan the cards but they don’t get saved.

I have loved this app but the new version will not share via sms or email. Nothing attaches. Have tried vcf and image. iOS iPhone 6s+

I'm not able to upload to iCloud to get my cards on my new iPhone. This used to work. It hangs at 82%. The scan then import feature into contacts is great. Too many variables right now I know. Maybe the developers will fix it.

Stinks. Updated and lost all my contacts.

Have been using this app for years. I found it to be the best in it's category as it has improved over time. Does a fairly good job of OCR except for badly designed business cards (people think about this!). Suggestions: (1) please have app recognize card edges. It still can't handle oversize European cards or those weird skinny cards you sometimes get, even when photographed on a contrasting background. (2) Please please make the Countries list in alphabetical order without categories. This takes too long. First I have to think: in what continent is this country, then what sub-category, east, west, nope, then what continent does Worldcard think it's in, then scroll and pass it a few times (kind of in a hurry, maybe ADHD), ah, yes, Turkey in Western Asia. Would be much better.

Though this has always been a great app, the new user interface is a HUGE improvement. Thank you!

I've had this app for years now and has never failed me. It backs up to my iCloud account and the data and been available on every iPhone I have owned! I Hope the developer continues to update and hopefully enhance its uses as time goes on.

I had a similar thing happened to what the other reviewer said. I thought that world card once I paid for the professional version would sync to my Outlook. I haven’t used it in a while I’ve recently spent literally an hour trying to add a couple business cards and see if they’re synchronizing to Outlook. This is crap. I’d like my money back but I’m sure that’s not gonna happen and it’s going to take way too long to try to even deal with it. I have tried multiple settings and cannot get it to sync it does show up on my iPhone in the contacts but I need it to go to my laptop. I don’t even see where it came in the Gmail.

This app used to work "marginally" well, but never great. Now, it doesn't work at all; will not scan high-quality images and will not save to contact list. They are always trying to upsell to something more expensive.

Business users beware. Won't export to phone contacts, and therefore to you Outlook contacts. Contacts are only housed in the app. Huge glitch!

This app has been a saver for years but does not work in OS 11. Do you plan to fix it?

I recommend this app to everyone in my industry. We are still in the age of business cards, and no one wants a trading book of business cards, nor do they want to type in all that information. This app does both, it stores all your business cards and transfers all the necessary information and you don't have to type a thing! A must have app

Been using it for years. Stopped working when I upgraded to iOS 11 today.

I never did think this was the greatest app, but it serves it's purpose. Now, once the new update was loaded, it deleted every one of my previous contacts and cards. I am sick to my stomach.

I had World Card for years. Now they blocked my old app so I purchased the new one. It will not take my old contacts into new app. Useless

The user interface gets better over time. Synchs flawlessly with Apple address book. For large batches of cards, I still use their hardware card scanner on my Mac.

Beautiful new interface, but it won't sync with gmail contacts and there isn't a way to export contacts for use in other programs

I used to use this app all the time and was extremely pleased with its functionality. It looks like they’ve not only taken away that free functionality, but the registration process is convoluted and dysfunctional. Very unhappy.
