Vip Access For Iphone App Reviews

Worked as designed. After I purchased this app, I then reset my iPhone. When I went to redownload the app, it gave me a different credential Id and not the original so I cannot log onto my stuff. There was no way to create an account. I have attempted to reach customer support with zero results. I get passed around and told that the team that managed this app has disbanded. The emails I sent to the VIP team have gone unanswered. Do not buy this app. If you ever reset your phone you are screwed big time.

Have been using flawlessly until yesterday. I got a new Apple Watch and now it will not load on the watch. Tried to contact customer support and was told there is nothing they can do to help.

Please bring back dark mode!!!!!

Whereas I use my VIP Access to enter a single account through multiple interfaces simultaneously and typically log into them at nearly the same time, and because the target account requires a separate VIP code for each instance, I am required to wait for the VIP code refresh timer to complete/timeout and produce a new code. I would greatly appreciate a button that would manually force VIP Access to produce a new/next code.

Using this app in the medical field is extremely frustrating. I might be wearing a mask or have gloves or other reasons where I can’t or shouldn’t be touching my phone. It would be very simple to access it through my Apple Watch. Please make this a reality thank you.

Need iCloud backup to recover the codes when changing to a nee device.

I have had this app on my iPhone for years, and it works fine.

The app is decent and functions well enough, but lately the watch app seems to lag behind the phone and my IT. When using the VIP enabled services and the Apple Watch, it often takes 2-3 times to enter the code (work app says code incorrect) even though it’s what the watch displays. I will either have to wait for the watch to generate another code (usually works on the second code displayed) or use the phone app directly. An unfortunate side effect of this is I’ve had to request my work account to be unlocked due to the number of incorrect attempts.

I have absolutely no issue with the app - worked great in the few years i’ve used it already with E-Trade. Now my employer also uses it for VPN access and it works well there as well. The only thing that would make the experience better is if the Apple Watch VIP Access app - used to confirm access - had a smaller logo, so one wouldn’t have to scroll to hit “Confirm”.

Every time I try enter the security code after changing my password. I get error message about security code authenticity. And it won’t let me into my email account. Never had an issue before. The FAQ page is no help says about syncing but does not give steps to do it and what steps it says I tried but it doesn’t work. Horrible app to use.

App works well on iPhone for multiple sites but it appears that Watch app only shows first site key. I would expect that it would let me turn crown or swipe to get to other site keys setup on paired iPhone.

Try to set up on another device and it keeps me in loop of access codes i phone X

The app stopped working when I upgraded to a new phone. App should do better with iCloud backup so we don’t lose access every time we switch devices.

I’ve been using Norton for many years. I’ve tried other internet security softwares, and hands down to Norton. I’ve tried Kaspersky, Mcafee, Bitdefender, and I only liked Norton and Comodo. But Norton has the most navigable and best user friendly platform, and it does what it says: protects and monitors. I highly recommend Norton if you’re not a tech savvy person and want an internet security software to protect your pc and phones.

When I got a new phone, the data transfer only kept one of my integrated accounts. All of the others were deleted.

When I tap on the code on the phone, it should copy code to clipboard. Duh.

Battery killer!! Uses 50% of my daily battery just running in the background.

I can approve requests on my phone but when I approve on my watch the request disappears from my phone but doesn't send the approval.

If I could give this less than 1 star, I would. My employer decided to make us use this system to log into our account away from work. Since they did this, no matter how many times I download the app, register, go through all the steps, follow troubleshooting to the T, nothing works and I am unable to view any of my pay stubs, vacation time, and any personal information outside of work. My phone shows one ID number, but my home computer shows another and I can’t log in to change the ID, because I’m not getting the correct security codes. This entire system is a waste of time.

I Use this app for work and it’s seriously so easy to authenticate! Bye bye s***** hard token!! no better product out there!!

I need to use this app now to login to my employers website for employees but every time I open the app on my phone it just closes it. For some reason it will not open on my iPhone 6s& I’ve reported this issue several times to the makers of the app and out IT team at my job and nothing still has been fixed! Super inconvenient when I want to check ANYTHING about work from home 😒

We had to download this on our phones to make it easy to get on a site. I don’t feel it’s easier then what it was. I think it’s a big waste of time because I have to keep trying to get on the site it’s for.

we have so many issues with our two factor verification i wish the company got rid of it it for good, so many headaches for a login!

The app is nice as I do not need to have my E*TRADE digital id with me anymore. The Apple watch app is fine for generating digital tokens but it lacks the lock / unlock that I can execute from my iPhone. Will give 5 stars when they add that feature.

Takes forever to log in most of the time

I downloaded today to use with the USAA site and app. Tried to set it up and got an immediate Error 3101. Can’t do anything with it. Using iPhone X iOS 11.4. Notified support via email. No response yet.

For a number of days this app has been frozen on my phone. I cannot open it nor can I delete the app. This has never happened with any other apps on my phone. Very concerning.

Really would be nice if it would ACTUALLY work. So now I have this window on my laptop with a nifty cred ID and a code that changes every 3 seconds. I can touch or click on ANYTHING on my iPhone that makes any sense. Tells me to click on QR code. What QR code? Cereal box? Pick one randomly? What the hell? No instructions period. I use 4 Symantec products that work wonderfully. This one is TRASH.

Was perfect but since latest iOS release, no longer reliably makes it to Apple Watch. No tech support whatsoever! A company like this should have had an update by now to stay on top of this. They claim to have updated for ios11, but what about Apple Watch updates??? Still won’t come up get to watch or does for a nanosecond and then I get error message. PLEASE FIX...I USED TO USE THIS 50+ times a day!!! Even if I have to pay for it, it would be so worth it. Thanks

A desktop app (or a chrome plugin like Authy) should be around that automatically syncs my credential ID to an online account, along with me other two-factor QR code registrations from my phone. It is 2017 and we still have apps that don't back up their data securely online?

App has crashed every time I’ve used it! Why anyone would use this app for security is beyond me!

The full version of the app works fine but the watch version doesn't get a fresh code when you open it, you have to wait until the 30 second timer runs out before it will give you a code that works

Had issues with the proximity unlock the other day but it's working great now. Love how easy this app is!

Proximity used to work, last update must have broken it. Support is absolute garbage, there is no way to contact Symantec, only view a half-assed FAQ.

Works 100% of the time for me. Easy to use and quick response time. I am not sure why it gets such low reviews. Likely user error.

I tap the app in apple watch, it shows the token code for a brief moment then disappears, stating it can't connect to my iPhone. Iphone is on, bluetooth is on, wifi is excellent, both devices with most up-to-date software. Nine times out of ten i have to pull up the token code (through this app) on my iphone.

I have an iPhone 6s and each time I download this app it opens and then in a quick sec it closes right back down.

If you use this for QR code changing one time passwords DONT. I just brushed my phone and it deleted one of my OTPs without double checking or saving it into a ‘deleted’ folder. This is ridiculous, I should not be able to delete one of my codes as easily as an email.

The proximity feature needs to support more than one computer. I have both an iMac and MacBook Pro. I want to be able to use it on both.

Time will tell. But seems to add a really good layer of security!

Single most important feature for me is the ability to double tap to copy the passcode to the clipboard. Fortunately, that feature has been restored after the most recent update. I use this app with VIP-enabled accounts mostly. I don't use it for its QR image scanning capability, which lets you generate codes for sites like Amazon or Gmail. I use a different app for that. I like the new interface. It even has a tactile feel when you double tap to let you know that the code has been copied. Thanks for restoring the double tap feature.

This app worked flawlessly under iOS 10 and watchOS 3. This version has problems with the watch app connecting to the iPhone. It connects sometimes and other times it doesn’t.

“Apple Watch could not connect to your iPhone” 🤬 for the entire time I’ve had this app. Completely unacceptable for such a simple app.

Apple Watch app does not work after the update.

Running iOS 10.3.3 iPhone 6s+ 24 hour battery is 30% "Background activity" and it's at the top of my list for 7 days. If I can't get this figured out I may have to give up on this.

I’ve entered my security code (correctly) four times now; every time I do I receive an error dialogue. And yes, I am entering the correct code. I’m running IOS 11.5

VIP Access app on Apple Watch dies not work. Always says the ‘Watch cannot connect to iphone’ It used to work flawlessly before. Please fix it Please Please Please

The Apple Watch app used to be my most used feature of the watch, but with the latest updates to the iPhone and watch OSs, the watch app always says it can’t connect to the phone unless the phone is on and the VIP Access app is open on it, making this completely worthless!

App DOES NOT WORK. UNABLE TO RETRIEVE CODE TO WORK.

I have been using Norton for two years and not a problem so far. They are always making their products better and easier to use, frequently updating and adding adding more security for our protection. Not a complaint here, just understand that at first it seems like a lot of extra work to be doing for a “unlikely” chance of theft. However, the chance is increasing exponentially and it’s such a relief to know they have my personal data secured and monitored.

Crashes my Mac Pro running the latest high sierra update - almost daily.

For example, put in home screen. Furthermore, Proximity response is very slow. The security code display doesn't have to be that large. There should be a button to push code to paired device.
