Does what it says it will do. Made the paging thru my math text book really fast, other stupid readers just take forever for the diagrams to draw. But after doing the pre renderings button, I can flip between pages just as fast as I can flick my finger. Other apps might have more features at the moment but for me it's all about the drawing speed. A month later I've loaded all my PDF text books into the app, actually I've stored them in the Dropbox area, but since it's cached I have access even if I'm not on the internet. Even handled the few password protected ones I got from my professor. I thought my math textbook paged fast, but when I got to load my differential equations one the line charts just draw so fast I couldn't believe it.

I LOVE the performance gains (pre-rendering is awesome) but the UI is horrible. 3 stars for performance, 0 for the UI

One of the strangest apps I have seen. It is very no frills, don't expect to do anything but read the PDF. It does however have nested folders which is something I haven't seen in a dozen other reader apps. That's about it though unless you pay for add ons, and the interface has such oddities it feels so awkward. Once you get a PDF in the app, it spends a LLLLOOOONNNNGGG time compressing it. You can read the files before they are compressed, but not while they are compressing. It's unclear what this compression is doing since there was no obvious performance difference before and after, though while it's working on any file viewing any other file compressed or not is slowed down. Once fully loaded, it's hands down the fastest reader I have seen (only hit a white page that takes half a second to load one in a blue moon in a very large file that is straight image when flipping as fast as fingers can move) but getting a collection loaded could take hours while it does it's compression stuff.

Yes it pre-renders the entire PDF, allowing you to flip pages lightning fast later. However, it forces you to sit through many minutes of confusion while the app displays very cryptic information, numbers and icons. This is the worst user interface I've ever seen on the iPad, particularly the choice of horrible greens and blues, non-standard methods for displaying progress during long operations, non-standard icons, and terrible layout of interface elements. So bad that I'm simply not going to use the app, even though it's faster than the others.

Used the pre-render function, then it just made viewing large PDF documents so much faster. Who has time to wait for some app to show the page, I noticed it cleared all the lag time up in viewing my automobile user manual since that seem to take 10 seconds to draw the shaded dashboard in that other PDF Reader app I was using. For sure these guys think different and have a better way to show PDF pages.

It has two incomparable features that make reading PDF more pleasurable than any other app out there 1. It pre-renders and thus increases the browsing speed to almost zero response time... Awesome! 2. It can scale pages to screen width regardless of their shape or size...! This is an awesome feature that I could not find in any other app. So you can vertically scroll your PDF as one big continuous page (without trying to adjust the width with pinch or zoom)!!

Love the speed of rendering and the accuracy of the content. Support was phenomenal. John and the team put more time and personal touch into solving my problem than I have ever experienced.

Using a 700 page file, the rendering is faster than any other PDF reader I've used, and I've tried all the top rated ones. Occasionally, there is a slight glitch, but it's still light years faster than any other reader when using large files. The main issue is there is no annotation function. Anyone using PDF files which are hundreds and thousands of pages absolutely needs annotation, bookmarks, etc, to navigate through the file. I'd gladly pay $$$$$ for a reader with the rendering speed of your PDF and annotation functions

I bought it specifically to read Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine 17th and it fails miserably during pre-rendering less than 1000 pages through the process (3352 pages total). This happens both on my iPad 1 and iPhone4.
