iOS 11 recently killed the last SQLite database client I used, so I had to shop around for a replacement. Decided to give SQLed a try. Very pleased and pleasantly surprised. In fact, I like it better than the last one. And I am encouraged by the fact that this app is actively developed. A few enhancements that I would love to see in the future: * Display columns that auto-set width based on data width, and/or can be user-adjusted. * User-defined forms * Display BLOBs when content is image data Keep up the great work! :-)

Can't import a CSV

I'm trying to import a plain .CSV file into SQLEd. All indicators are that there is a way to do this. Documentation appears to want the CSV inside a .SQLite file inside a .ZIP file. The zip file is no problem; I can create those all day on a Windows or Mac machine. The .SQLite is the killer. I tried to create a small dbase with a table in SQLEd and export it as a ZIP, so I could see what it created, but after unzipping, I couldn't get the Mac to open the .SQLite file. Most imports allow you to bypass the ZIP and the SQLite intermediate forms. Isn't there a way for me to just plop a .CSV file into Dropbox and have SQLEd read it in????

Good for learning

Not very elegant. Not sure it's very useful.

The user interface is, well, lacking. It doesn't work like an iPhone or an iPad app. I'm not sure this application is actually useful.

Nice tool

I'm a realtor and .net software developer. I'm very surprised at the number of functions and the power built into this system for the price. If I could have found a CRM system with the functions I wanted for real estate I never would have found this. I'm glad I did. Never thought I could use SQLite on an iPad. Very cool. A couple of small bugs nothing too bad so far.

great app

Excellent app. I only use this for prototyping fairly simple databases and for a few personal databases I maintain and it's hands-down the best app I've found.

This can't connect to an existing SQL db?

I just purchased this version (1.6.1). I was impressed with the features (I have 30 years of SQL experience) for the price on an iPad. because I am an advanced user, I immediately started putting it thru the paces. It did not take long for me to find a problem area. I contacted the developer and have already gotten a response. I love the future potential of this product when all the kinks are corrected and could not ask for better support.
