Personally I've been using this app for almost 4 years, owning the iPhone app first, then the iPad version (I wasn't aware of the Legacy version upgrade at the time), and everything within the app is great. I would definitely give this 5 star rating if they would just implement PayPal payments, or Square support. I used to really like the support built in for Innerfence's CC Terminal, but since Innerfence completely screwed and isolated their customers trying to get an "Extra" piece of he pie for themselves, I won't use the reduction anymore. The support by this company is remarkable, even emailing me back on a weekend when I sent them a question. This company supports their users the way that all companies should.

As a contractor, a portion of my business is service based. This app makes my iPad into a cash cow. No more pulling prices out of thin air or working up a price while the customer waits/watches. With the professional screen appearance, pre-priced goods &services, and the ease of manipulation, customer's apprehension is eased and managing them is simplified. About the program itself, I'm IT challenged, and the few snags I hit during setup were quickly resolved with email and phone support. The support is second to none! Don't get me started with the receipt customization, simple and you are limited only by HTML and your own imagination! Return on investment? Give me a break, I made it up on my first transaction. Bottom line, This allows me to charge a little more, improve my margin, and make my job easier. Go paperless and don't look back.

I run both service and retail businesses, and wanted one POS system that would work for both. I downloaded this App, and within minutes I had this up and running. The online support answered most of my questions about importing existing databases of products and clients, but I missed a step of the process, so it didn't do what I had hoped it would. I send an email to the developer, Todd, and he wrote back within minutes. He asked if he could call me, and then spent an hour and twenty minutes on the phone with me, walking me through the process, and even looked at the data on my iPad and on my computer. He answered every question I had, and spent way more time than he needed to, to make sure I was comfortable with the software. I wish every developer took the kind of care that Todd takes to make his App agile and adaptable, and cared the way he does that his customer service go above and beyond expectation. He certainly understands that success is not based on what you say about your own App, but on what customers say about it. Ultimately, I'm extremely happy with the App, but when I think about this product I'm more likely to remember the time that Todd spent treating my IT challenged brain, and helping me get the most use of an already great product. Getting a POS system set up takes time no matter what app you do it on, so you want to make sure that you do it with a software developer who will stick with you for the long haul. Todd is the real deal.

I have been using the iPhone version of Ring It Up Pro for several months, now. It has become a "must have" app for all of the people I know who run a business similar to mine (non-store-front retail). I have converted all of them due to the apps simplicity and functionality. I have been waiting for some time for the iPad version, and now that it's here, I have to say, you have outdone yourself. The new interface allows for easier order entry from one screen, better integration with my merchant app and the benefit of being able to work in portrait or landscape mode. The app that simplified execution and tracking of my business just got easier. I highly recommend Ring It Up for anybody who uses or might want to use their iPad to process orders or manage their business. Simply a must!

The Awesome: - Great service! - Easy to use interface - Compared to other apps this one is best. (I've tried most of them, if not all the major ones) - Updates truly make the app better - we operate our entire business from this app now - my clients are impressed by this app (especially the new signing feature) they always comment on how advanced our business is now just from that one feature! The great: - also you can adapt this app to your business needs... The needs: - graphics for reports - a way to add multiple tax rates The final analysis: This app is about 98% all you need to run your business in my opinion. The 2% left over for us would be the two needs we mentioned. Other than that, there is NO NEED TO LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR IPAD BUSINESS APP!

This app has more bells and whistles than I really need, but it is terrific for selling my products at vendor events and keeping track of everything. I particularly like the ability to add discounts to a sale or a specific item.

This app is awesome. It works like it was advertised. The developer is the greatest, if your having problems with operating his app he will be there for you. Customer service is A+.

I own an online bakery that I run out of my home, and this app is the app I have dreamed of. So easy to use, yet does everything I could ever want. If you are on the fence about buying this, just do it and thank me later!

I really don't understand why this app gets good ratings. It is so clunky and unintuitive. I've tried to use it for over a month and I'm CONSTANTLY lost. Worst workflow ever

Only just started using "Ring It Up HD" but so far it seems to have everything I wanted and then some. In my quick testing, I love the inventory system being tied right into the sales sytem and being able to setup a customer and email them a recipt is just super. Why 4 stars not 5? Ring It Up doesn't use "Square" as a credit card reader/processor as of yet, something I'll write to them about. That would make it 5 stars for me. Can't wait to use this out in the real world and see how it does.
