I speak in front of people several times a week. After trying several others, this has been my go to app. The app itself is very easy to use. It will scroll your script automatically for you, or allow you to go at your own pace. It is very easy to adjust on the fly. It is very simple to make the print larger or smaller. It is very easy to enter the text into the app as well. It will easily back up to Dropbox and back up through email. I would love to see Google Drive added, but that is just my preference! I highly recommend this app and have loved it for a long time! The support is very approachable and do respond promptly when needed!

This app is awesome, but I think it should be able to keep recording the video even when stopping scrolling , because sometimes what we have to say is longer than the text that's been scrolling. Israel Silva

I got this app for the few public speaking engagements I give every year. However, if you work in voice-over, narration, or anything similar, this app will take your productivity to the next level. Awesome tool!

This is a 5 star app until IOS 8.0.2 update. Now it just crashes. Please fix

App developer got back to me right away and did what he said he would do and update the app to work with iOS 8. I have only had a need for the app a few times but when I have it has performed as stated. I hope to use it more in the future.

This app is great but, The best is the support team. I sent them couple messages and they replied immediately! That's a great customer service. Today I am giving to them 5 stars.

A terrific app for presentations & class lectures. I use it all the time. But I would completely love it if users had the ability to organize presentations (I have a lot of them), create folders, and move items around. Also, would be nice to have the power to import from more than merely txt how about MS Word?). Thanks.

I love how this makes giving talks easier with my outline and a built in timer. Would love to be able to turn off auto scroll without having to tap once after I hit start. Would also like to have black on white instead of the current display. Would also like Dropbox or iCloud sync. If I get those, five stars for sure!

I read the prior reviews, and was concerned regarding support and performance. Having now used this app extensively for several days I can attest it is solid and performs as promised. I did have a problem, which was easily resolved after a very prompt return of my request for support. I won't repeat the features that are promised: just know they all work as promised. My one problem was when recording a short promo, the video recording would stop before I completed my script. Within 24 hours I received a response suggesting that the script might be so short, it reached the end of the school and automatically stop recording. This was the case, I simply added some white space at the bottom of my script, and it worked flawlessly.

I bought Promptster in a pinch for a video shoot, but realized it wasn't what I needed. The user interface was very nice and easy to work with, but I didn't realize that it didn't work with a mirrored display and I couldn't control it with another iOS device via Bluetooth. I contacted one of the support staff, mentioned the issues, and had a very good experience while dealing with them. They mentioned these features could possibly be in a future update. I'd seriously recommend the app for speakers and prosumer video production applications.

Confession, I purchased a few Prompt apps trying to get that right fit after getting this when it came out… They had some gr8 features that this didn't have but overall they didn't compare… What was lacking is now here and this developer listens and delivers… I just need the search and categorize maybe… other than that I'm Good… But HANDS DOWN the BEST Prompt app, trust me the others are either too over the top or way under...

I occasionally preach at my church and I was looking for a teleprompter type app to scroll my sermon. I tried the free version and it was satisfactory for me, so I bought Prompster Pro. I have since recommended it many times over to colleagues. Though the app can record both video and audio, I find myself using only the basic teleprompting, though it's good to have those features there. The biggest win, however, is importing of files from Dropbox. I can then practice my sermon, go in and edit it within the app, and from there press prompt and away I go. I don't use the app every week, but when I do, it's mission critical. Also, I emailed the developer about a crash when I updated to iOS 8 and he was "Johnny-on-the-spot" and very cordial. Thumbs up to Paragoni!

Todo esta bien, Pero cuando hago la exportacion lo cambia el formato. En Microsoft tengo cuadros, subtitulos y titulos que al pasarlo a prompster lo cambia todo. Eso es lo que no me Gusta! Señores de prompster areglen eso por favor.

I have been looking for an app that does exactly what Prompster does. But it turns out that Prompster goes beyond what I had imagined with a beautiful friendly interface. Pair it with a B-Land Mobile phone stand that you can hang from your neck and you can give a hands free presentation while standing (or sitting)

Giving a talk later this morning. Been working on laying it out all evening, which required importing a text file and losing all my formatting. Had it almost where I wanted it a few minutes ago, and the program crashed and the work was gone. I lost everything!! This program is cursed. Stay way from it. Wasted my money on it.

I purchased this app about a six months ago. When I downloaded Applie iOS 8.0.2 recently, the app would no longer work. I contacted Paragoni and received a response back in a few hours that an update was soon to be available. Indeed, in a few days the update was available. The app now works again. I am extremely impressed with this app and with Paragoni's support!

This application stopped working when I upgraded my iPad and I have tried several times to reach someone to no avail.

I use this app all the time. It is really a good app that could be so much better. The problem with the app is if you bold one section or line the whole doc will become bold. That is the same with any changes you make with the font. If you want to change one part you can't it will change the complete document. If they would fix this I would give it five stars.

The layout is basic and user-friendly. The value of the app matches the price at which it is offered for. It would have been 4 or 5 star app if I could actually import .txt files from dropbox. It shows that the app is connected to the dropbox and all the steps have been taken to ensure the app is authorized to access dropbox. Still, every time I try to import files it asks for authorization and then logs me out!

This program won't even open on my new iPad. It is so buggy!! If it was Scottish it would be Buggy McCrashalot

What a waste of money! I could not easily get my content to load. It never loaded after many many attempts. I finally gave up and purchased another app. No refunds are available and so here is my review. If I could give ZERO starts I would.

I purchased the pro version of this app and it does not work on IOS 8. It simply opens a black screen and closes the app. I am not sure this company is still in business.

I was having trouble uploading my speech and emailed for help. I quickly received a response with step by step instructions about my question. The last thing I needed was extra stress, and you helped to alleviate that. Thanks a million! Valerie

Ever since the last upgrade from Apple, Prompster Pro won't initiate. I click the icon, the screen goes black and then back to the home screen. I've restarted the app and ipad, reinstalled the app, everything I can think off and it still doesn't work. Please offer a fix/upgrade fast, I need this app, I don't want to go find and buy a new one. Please fix it. Because it doesn't work right now I must give it one star... When it's up and running it truly is my favorite app!!!please fix it soon.

I downloaded the app and could not get to work before it stopped recording after 10 seconds. They have absolutely no technical support system except sending an email and waiting 24 hours. I'm not sure what makes this app so great.

This is a great application for preaching and sharing at missions conferences. It helps keep me off of rabbit trails and stick to the alloted time.

I want to start by saying, I love this app. I have used it for a long time now and it is (was) my go to app for presentations. I use it every Sunday to do announcements at my church and also when I give sermons. But unfortunately, with the latest update, nothing I create in the editor saves!!! I type in my notes and leave....then when I come back to use them, nothing is there....I lose everything. I have notified the developer but to date, there has been no fix...so for the time being this app is useless. As a heads up, I believe the problem started after I sent my notes using the export button to my email address. Somifmits working for you right now, I would not export, just to be safe!

OK guys, I was really enjoying this app I’m not sure what’s up since the new update but it will not open on my iPad or my iPhone. What is the resolution?

I bought this app with the idea of using it for my training videos. After using it for a short time I realize that i wasted the purchase price. I'll have to find another app. If all you need is to autoscroll a text file, this app is fine. The 'record a video of you speaking' is a neat gimmick... Unfortunately the app is so under featured even the gimmick isn't worth it. All you can do is enter text and then set it to auto scroll. You have extremely limited control over font and there is no line highlighting, no flip (for mirror / camera use) or any other features you'd expect for an app at this price point. The app doesn't even let you go full screen. This could be great, but sadly is not. If you want a teleprompter app, keep looking there are better ones out there. What you see in the screenshots is all you get.

It fails to connect to Dropbox, copy and paste fails, no reason to use it.

Add bulletin point format ability. Add custom folders, to save groups of presentations (I.e. Lecture class series, Song lyrics folder, etc.). Add auto-save function, so you don't have to flip to Presentation Mode to save your work. Or at least add a quick Save button on the input page.

It was difficult at first how to import I figured it 3 days later. This would be better if it toggle to landscape or widescreen rather than portrait. Who does portrait TelePrompTer?? I guess only here. Please update as us consumer can enjoy this app more.

I've purchased a few Teleprompter apps for the iPhone/iPad and this is the cleanest & best functioning. Responsive developer replies quickly with suggested improvements. Great App!!

I have been using this app for a few years and find it simple to use and extremely convenient. When students couldn't remember their lines, we attached to a projector and displayed the lines on the wall behind the audience. We had a videographer come to tape students giving speeches, he wanted the text reversed to work with his fancy system and to my surprise, it was a new feature. I contacted customer support and Dante was extremely helpful and willing to answer my silly questions. I highly recommend Prompster Pro.

I give a lot of talks both inside and outside my company. Prompster Pro helps me a lot, espeically getting ready and practicing. I type up my talk, and then import into the app. Next, I practice and then practice some more, changing text if necessary, and selecing suitble delivery speed and pace on the app. In my practice sessions, I record, time and/or video my presentation, and use these features to help me improve speech content and my delivery. And then when I give the talk, I place my device with Prompster Pro running, on the lecturn which I also record for post-talk review and critique. Prompster Pro is valuable app for perfecting the craft of public speaking.

I use Prompster Pro nearly every day. I have song lyrics with or without chords set to scroll at my pace. When I need performance evaluation or a video for YouTube I can record as the music scrolls. Works great.

I do a lot of public speaking and often have to give speeches of 10+ minutes without a PowerPoint or slideshow to guide me through. I relied on typing a one page cheat sheet, or index cards until I found this app. Now, I carry my phone to the podium and glance at it, as it scrolls. It has been awesome to keep me on pace, as I am often set for a time that had to be kept. The topics are so important I don't want to miss anything - and the app has a timer, scroll speed you can set, and even allows you to highlight text to add things that may go on with the audio visual and media as you speak. I will be using this app for all my longer speeches. I had the free version and the one without advertisements is honestly worth it. Thanks, Prompster 😉👍

I do a lot of public speaking and usually work without physical notes, but deep down in my heart I always secretly wished I had a cool convenient electronic helper. Well, here it is and its terrific. Does exactly what a prompter needs to do. Love the speed controls. When someone says "you have 10 minutes" and they mean it, you'll really appreciate the app.

I use this app all the time. I don't know what I would do without it. I have tried other prompter apps and non are as good. It excels! The one bad comment I have about the app is the need to hook it to iTunes to get recordings off. How about Dropbox, iCloud, even airdrop to get recordings off. I back up my phone to the iCloud and hooking up to iTunes always irritates me.

I make training videos for a living, and this helps a lot with the on-camera portions. Using iTunes, I import scripts from the PC into Prompster. And the app is intuitive; it has a low learning curve and I didn't need a manual. Still, it needs a few tweaks to be even better: • Import multiple files at once. I had 20 files and it was tedious to import them one-at-a-time. • Delete multiple files at once. • Allow custom, default settings for font size and speed. The app always defaults to text that's too small and too slow. • Support an extended character set. Single and double quotes don't import properly, so I have to remember to convert them to foot and inch marks before importing.

I use the app every week. I work as a pastor and teacher. I deliver sermons and speeches on a regular basis. The app is a game changer. I love it. Easy to learn and use. I'm a much better communicator with this app.

Appreciate the new features, even the icon looks cool. Just wish this app had a way where instead of having to hit stop each time or fiddling with the speed buttons in order to slow down or speed up the prompt; that the (black) prompt screen could be advanced or frozen by the swipe or touch of a finger, yet done in such a way that would not affect the timer. Another great feature would be an edit on the fly feature, or at least when going back to edit mode, that the screen could leave off more or less where the prompt mode was at, rather than having to stop the prompt, switch back to edit, scroll furiously through the whole presentation to find where the edit needs to be made, then switch back to prompt, wherein the darn thing takes you all the way back to the beginning, and once again you have to scroll furiously to find your spot. This is the worst when it's 5 minutes before show time. Another thing that seems kinda bad: because I tend to carry the iPad in-hand while speaking, sometimes my gestures cause the screen to rotate. Now I lock the screen with the side switch, but should the screen rotate, the action itself takes you to a whole different area of the text while in prompt. One just has to remember to lock.

Excellent for practicing and delivering talks. Love the built in recording features.

This app will record a test of a few seconds but will not record an extended recording. Fix it!!!

It is impossible to use latest version. Full of bugs and no support from vendor. Stay away.
