Hello, I use this app regularly, I even schedule people on this app. Most of the app runs just fine like I’m able to view plans, review the itinerary, times, etc. The thing that I hate the most is that when you make a change to your schedule on the computer it won’t register correctly in the app. For example let’s say I moved myself to another position and filled that position with somebody else, it will show that that person was requested but it will still say that I am confirmed for two positions when in reality I’m only confirmed for the one I moved to. (This glitch only happens on my iPhone because when I view the app on a Samsung device everything works perfectly) This isn’t just a glitch on my end however, my supervisor has the same problem along with many people in my church. You really need to fix this, because it’s confusing a lot of people as to who is and isn’t scheduled! Thank You!

I go to the App Store just to check to see if the PCO app was recently updated so I can read these!!

Our church asked us to use The Planning Center for volunteer signups. Several of us downloaded the app and we got a virus! We all downloaded it at different days/times too. Some a couple months from each other. Anyway- our phones are really, really screwed up. Email apps need to be deleted and reinstalled, Drains batteries like crazy, kicks you off of WiFi, asks for your passwords constantly and now I can’t even access safari without spam coming up. DO NOT INSTALL!!!

Seems half the time I use this app there are network issues and it doesn’t allow me to enter Blackout dates or see my updated serving schedule. Since that’s all I use this app for I don’t have anything good to say about it.

Files don’t load reliably

HELP. Every time I attempt to log in, after numerous attempts it comes on the screen with a weird creature that says, “ uh oh, something went wrong, try logging out and back in again”. PLEASE HELP As I cannot see when I am scheduled to greet at our church services. I’ve even tried deleting the app and re installing it.

I don’t know if this is possible, but it would be really awesome if there was a transposing thingy in the app so you could just insert one of your songs and transpose it to a different key

My church loves PCO and use it for every service. It’s awesome to have this app to make quick changes during meetings or see what’s going on in service from anywhere on campus. However, I wish administrators can change user permissions from this app, versus having to sign in online to do this.

In “My Schedule” it shows the last 3 or more plans that I was in. 2 months after Christmas it still showed Christmas Eve services. Please fix as it is annoying and takes more time to find the current plan. Yes I have cleared Cashed Data

As mobile apps go, this needs work. So many aspects just aren’t intuitive.

I have this app and music stand on my phone and they are great. But i have it on ipad and when i sign in it returns to the login screen immediately. I tried resetting my ipad but i dont know what the problem is.

The best update descriptions on the internet. The app is good also.

This app is a great way for me to see what I’m scheduled for and to communicate if I can make it or not. However, recently I haven’t been receiving any schedule request for one of my positions and I don’t know why any help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s great when it works. I’m playing at multiple churches and have to log out of one and into the other after a password reset under the same email. Why can’t it just stay under my one profile and have the ability to select a service like before. This is incredibly annoying and things like this have been a problem since I started using this app. Other issues include the media player freezing and the app not opening or freezing when opened. I select one date and then go to another and the media player from the other date pops up. This app has proven problematic over and over. Please fix this.

At the top of my app it says “my schedule” but it doesn’t have “plans” and I have no way to access old chord charts that are in the app.

I’ve used for years now every time I try to accept a request I get a “oops that didn’t work” message. Needs to be fixed.

I enjoy using this app. Scheduling is easy to accept or decline plus music stand is helpful. It would be GREAT if there was a monthly calendar that members could view that would detail rehearsals for the teams not just those that are scheduled for events.

App is not good due to the constant updates

I don’t know what our church would do without PCO. But—it seems like a coin toss whether or not the iPad app will save the changes I make to plans. Item notes, needed positions, song attachments, you name it. I’ll hit the check mark to confirm the change only to see it not actually take effect. I’ve gotten used to having to make the same change multiple times. Wish that I could eliminate this redundancy and frustration from my workflow.

The new version of the mobile app is not working properly. I can’t sign up how I used to???? Please help fix the bug

First off, I love this app so much! But I have one problem. The app won’t let me change my profile picture. It’s been like this for a while and I really need to change it! Thank you guys!

Every week i have to pray extra hard so the mp3s decide to show up on it. It’s a hit or miss, I need to work with both the app and the webpage on my computer, that’s the only way to do it. Other than that i think is a good app.

Would be nice to see all the services on the app, not just the ones you’re scheduled for.

Hi there. I see that at the top of the app’s description, it says: you must already have an account to use this mobile app. Does this mean that I cannot create an account? Is it only available to former users? There is also no option to sign in, which leaves me wondering. It seems to me that this app has great potential, but a tip or two, maybe some clarity, would be helpful. Thank you!!

Every time I think that PCO has reached the limit of the goodness that it provides I’m shocked at the next update. As a long Time PCO user I appreciate that feedback and a genuine desire to make the app better is what drives this team. The only thing that could make the app better is if it only worked on iPhones (so I could get my team off of those silly other useless devices they call “smart” phones.

i have an account with planning services and i am 100% sure of the email that i am using, and it keeps saying my email is not found. i NEED to log in to this app for my church worship, and i have no idea how else to get in.

It’s very slow and clunky on iPhone SE. There is a solid two seconds between when I tap on a plan and when it actually appears. It’s not intended to be a replacement for planning center on a computer, but it’s not a phenomenal companion either. To it’s credit, it is reliable, just slow.

It doesn’t work me cause I’m an usher for my church and I don’t get anything from them within several weeks!!!! I give this app “1” star cause of the service...

I love the app and how organized it helps us be with the services and with everything going. What I would suggest, and I know I’m not the only one, is for us who work at two or more different churches have those as tabs that we can cycle through so that we don’t have to create a new profile every time we work at a different church. That would help tremendously!! Right now i use it on my phone but the app only lets me access one church and for the other one i have to login on safari. Please help with this ASAP, it would mean a lot to a lot of us!!

Hard to navigate the various menus especially when it comes to signing up for a slot to cover a specific time. Also, email feature freezes up when you make an attempt to communicate with your team. The online version is much easier to deal with. The app has a lot of room for improvement.

Can y’all create a way to run Planning Center Live from Apple Watch? I have no idea what that entails on the backend of that, but it would be a great feature to have. Just a thought!

Hi, I’d like the option of printing Order of Service directly from Planning Center App. Great app!

I want to serve at life center I just hit the wrong button. Sorry.

I don’t like that you cannot see openings to serve in the first upcoming service if you are not scheduled or if you decline an opening and circumstances change and you want to volunteer for an opening that may still be available. You should also be able to see the entire list of scheduled volunteers for a service whether you are serving or not. This app is difficult to use and not intuitive for someone who has worked in IT for years. The link to the support website from the App Store also does not work.

The app is great however there isn’t as many features on the app as there is on the actual website. Also It would be nice to not only make a YouTube playlist but to have it be compatible with iTunes.

EDIT: I tried a few things on my phone and it turns out another app was messing with the internet. So the issue has nothing to do with the Planning Center app. I fixed the issue and the app runs fine now. Since I upgraded to iOS 12 every time I open the app it tells me there’s no internet connection and doesn’t load anything so I can’t use it right now.

It keeps telling me there is an authentication error. What’s up with that?!

This app is amazing! It helps you with whatever your doing and every aspect of life. If your planning a concert,party, or anything else you might need an orginized way to plan this will work! Thanks planning center for all the help you provide

Nothing I would change about it!

On the Planning Center Website using a desktop computer, I can play through all the songs nonstop on the same screen, whether they are YouTube videos or mp3’s. The desktop version of the website is great. However in the PCO app, you have to keep clicking on the songs one at a time and navigating back to “order of service.” On top of that, sometimes if the song includes an mp3 it jumps to another screen that appears to include songs from previous services, so if I don’t stop the music it proceeds to play songs not included in the current week’s service. It would be great to be able to just open the order of service, hit play, and have it play all the songs in the current week’s service straight through as it does in a desktop web browser.

This app has gotten better and better over the years, but, as a leader, I find it’s missing one key feature: a UI to add files to song arrangements that mirrors the desktop experience. I often link to YouTube videos with lessons for my instrumentalist. I’d like an easier method to add these through the app, as it’s the only thing I have to log into the desktop for currently.

Does what it needs to, but the reminder has a glitch. It shows up saying I have an event in 1 DAY instead of 1 WEEK. Gets me panicked every time.

Once you get over the learning curve it’s a nice system. Bond with the fact you’ll have to watch the tutorials before you can be effective with the app/website. Their tech support team is very helpful and responsive.

I like the app, I just wish there was a feature where you can slow down media files so musicians can better grasp melodies while practicing.

Where’s the option to create an account so I can log in?

I’ve noticed a recent poor development. People on my team and I have not been receiving push notifications. Open the app, and within a couple of seconds, a notice appears for an incoming message. Team members are missing schedule requests and other notifications because of this. Too often I hear “I used to get notifications, but lately I don’t.”

Seems like a great app! I just started serving at my church and it's very helpful to see when and who I'm working with. There are some things that seem to confuse me. The set up of it is a bit confusing but I can get a hold of it. I think you should be able to add friends on here, if you have someone specific to talk to about the plans (if they don't use email) I think that that would be a great addition because there's a person I've been wanting to contact about my schedules. But overall this is a great app (sorry if my English was bad)

Overall this app is great and works amazing in everything we do to organize our services, and the cross platform between groups Is great! There sometimes is bugs with the app and music stand, but the longer I use it the better it gets!

This should be called “Planning Center Services Companion” app. If you are simply using it to look at your scheduled plans, it’s passable. Although the UI is a bit perplexing with many dead ends (back buttons anyone?) it does the job more or less if u are needing to a hand in practice, but that’s about it. That’s being said, I don’t think modern people want to use just a portion of a service in an app. I don’t understand why I can’t use this to even ADD a person to a plan. As a leader it’s a real pain if, say I forget to add a person, and then I want to give them access to set on stage and I have to grab my laptop. Of maybe I wanna just review future plans on the fly I haven’t been scheduled on but I MADE BECAUSE I’M THE ADMIN and I can’t do it. Just annoying. I want a uniform experience.

I like the app, and it works fine on my Pixel 2XL but lately I can’t even log in on my iPad. I enter my creds and it just sits there on the login screen doing nothing. I uninstalled it on my device and reinstalled from the cloud but no different. I had a pending iOS update so I installed that but no difference then either. It’s a great app if I could get logged in again!

I love this app but lately it’s been a b*** to me. Before I could see who was on the schedule for like production stuff and what songs we were playing and all that. But now it only shows me the times i have to be there & stuff. It won’t let me see anything else. And when i go to “Plans” it doesn’t show anything. Can you tell me how to fix this??? Please??

I love this app! It’s easy to use and understand. It’s definitely effective and helpful, particularly in receiving and responding to requests. The only thing that me and the rest of my team would love to see is the ability to view the notes that can only be created on the desktop site. They appear in a blue bubble with the number of comments posted. We prefer to post song info in there, but no one can see it on the app! The other two description or note options on both the app and website either make the plan look excessive and long or they stay with the song every time we use it in a plan, even though the details we put in will need to change every time. I like everything else about the app and will still continue to use it regularly!

I know you guys may not think anybody notices but I see the puns and jokes you guys make on the updates. But I notice and I appreciate it.

If you need to reverse the blackout of a date due to a last-minute, availability, you’re screwed. No music for you!

It’s been a week and a half that I’ve had the app. I work with technology and applications and I know I’m not doing anything wrong, I’ve triple checked everything and compared side by side with other users. Stilllll doesn’t work :/

No other app I use asks me to re-enter my password as often as this one does, destroying the convenience factor you expect when using an app. Also, the app sometimes gets stuck in an out-of-sync state, and can’t be persuaded to reflect the true information visible from the website. This requires me to force-quit the app and/or go into Settings and use the “Reset” option under Cached Data. (I feel bad for my regular users, who will have no idea when their app data is stale and won’t know how to fix the problem.) Additionally, it still seems to be using its own custom-built UI elements in certain areas, resulting in intermittently unpredictable behavior when dragging & dropping things in service order. Elements I’m moving can end up randomly hopping to different spots, so I sometimes have to switch to another service and back again to see where my latest changes actually ended up. Overall, it feels like this app is built on an overcomplicated legacy codebase, which results in a less than ideal user experience. It’s still generally useful, but not as reliable as it needs to be.

Also, love the puns in the app updates. 😂🤣

Whenever I log in it says “uh oh something went wrong.” It’s been doing this since I got the app and this is very stressful because I’m part of band at church and I can’t see when I’m on the schedule 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very configurable, easy to use, and great for building and sharing a plan and scheduling people. But, most important, you HAVE to read the app update notes. Some of them are absolutely hilarious!

First, the Services app does NOT reflect the changes I make to my plan on the computer at planningcenteronline.com To me if I update the plan in either place, the changes I make should show up in both places! Is the app not connected to the website? Second, realizing that the app is NOT reflecting the website, I have attempted NUMEROUS times to change/adjust my plan in the app but to no avail!! None of my changes EVER stick even after clicking Save! At this point this app is no good to me which is a shame because it would be much more handy than the website if it was indeed accurate!

Live Tracking is not very stable. I have to tap next three times before it moves onward. This would be great if it were more reliable on mobile.

I downloaded this app yesterday to prepare for a church service I am scheduled to play. The app is suppose to include links to tracks, YouTube, etc.. that the worship leader sent however no links are provided, only text. They work well with other musicians I know but for some reason they do not come into my app as links, just text. Please help! Thank you!

The guys at PCO have truly revolutionized how the local church prepares for events and services in a convenient and user-friendly platform. They consistently update the app and listen to their customers. Great job!

Every time I’m scheduled for a job at church like pro presenter I click the confirm button and it will say error the request is invalid it is very frustrating. Help please

I don’t know why but recently when switching between the plans for my church and my school the app crashes. Please fix!

Love the app but can someone tell me why I don’t have the option for My Plans?

It glitches all the time. When it doesn’t it’s the best thing ever but that rarely, if ever happens. It doesn’t seem to properly sync up to the website. The information is often wrong and sometimes random people show up in my scheduling. When that doesn’t happen it’s an amazing app but, that’s a very rare occurrence.
