This is the greatest and most useful app on iTunes. Since I've shown this my coworkers I have a hard time getting my iPod back. A+

Great app. Putting in over wires and some heat treating would be nice. If you could make it more like a electric machinist guide I could throw some of the old versions out.

Why should I have to go through up front advertisement on an ap that I paid for?! Not smart!

I have used this App for over a year now and am still happy I spent the money.... I've looked at many others, but this one is my "Go To" app... Thanks Jim for putting it together... I have appreciated all the updates, but the one I keep hoping for is a Chord Calculation. Maybe someday... :-)

Love this app! You should add a thread turning calculator for all threads (acme, round, exc) with min/max/pitch dia ref, internal and external. Also a ball mill scalop height calculator would be awesome. Great app!!!

This app is at my finger tips daily and recommend this of any Machinist.p

Very handy app. Beats digging out the machinist handbook. I would like to see more calculations such as being able to calculate coordinates for milling internal hexagons on the flats and/or across corners.

I think this is a great app, being a Machinist for 40 years this app is a huge help. I would like to see Cusp Height/Step-over for Ball Endmills added to this app.

Needs update crashes when adding decimal places to more than one place otherwise it works great

This app is awesome!!!!!! The best part is that I had a suggestion for an update and got a reply within a couple hours. It wasn't a common reply letter it was a real person asking for details about my suggestions. I am a very happy customer.

This is a good app. I can see if you normally run newer cnc operated machinery it could be very helpful. Unfortunately I run older manual equipment that doesn't even have DRO's on them and only some of the info from this app is useful to me. Maybe saves me a trip to look at a wall chart occasionally. I would reccomend if you run newer equipment. I would like to see them throw in the metric version instead of making you purchase another app, if I bought a book with this info in it, it would include metric also.

I bought it and sorta regret spending $10 on this app. The best thing about this app is the bolt circle section. That's really all because my machinist handbook is the 11th edition and has nothing on bolt circles. There are some handy things but a machinist hand book would be the best way to go instead of this app.

Good app but for $10 they should also include the metric calculations.

The app has come a ways since I first purchased it. The BC and threading is a step in the right direction. Adding metric, Pipe threads straight and tapered both British and American standard, acme and stub acme would be a definite plus.

Using new IOS 10. When right triangle solver is used to calculate. It will take the first known with a decimal point. However when you put the second number in with a decimal it closes the app???

Won't load app anymore. Please fix. Add sfpm charts for different materials. Drills reamers carbide and hss cutters

I told my son we needed to make this app sometime ago, but now it is too late. This is the best app on my phone, and the most used. I showed it too my tool salesman and he loved it. The calculations are perfect. So far the only thong that I see missing is a material data sheet. I own a small job shop and we cut all types of tool-steel, like A2, D2, S7, M2, H13, 4140A, 4142 PH, etc. Aluminums such as 7075, 2024, 6061 etc. Stainless Steel such as 303,304,310, 400 series, 17-4 etc. A Material data sheet would help machining calculatons. Well worth the money and would highly recommend this purchase! Mad-Hungarian

This is good to have these resources in one location. After this purchase, I realized that over 60% of the formulas I already use in Formulaic. Can you make an update soon so that there's an option to have the ability to toggle inch or metric input? Thank you for making the app and I'll be looking forward to an update. *******Updated review******* Thanks for the metric version. Can you write the code to avoid a standalone purchase of the metric solution?

3 wire measurements for threading would be an awesome addition :)

I am very dissatisfied with this app. I have spent $9.99 on another app and I am very happy with it. If you're going to ask for this amount for an app it should have alot of useful features. There more useless features than good ones. I think it could use a thread caculator/chart. Something to give you major, minor, pitch dia.etc. I also think for the money it could have a material data section. Also it doesn't load every time.

The new bolt circle calculator is STILL a joke. How about a little quality control in the updates? Only 16 holes max? WTF? Fix the directions. ALL angles in a cartesian coordinate system start at 3 O'clock and rotate COUNTER-CLOCKWISE! What the developer has done here is decidedly amateurish and non- standard. It now only rates 3 stars.

The app loads 50% of the time. I would rate it a lot higher if the would consistently load.

Not happy that I paid for this app and they are putting a paid advertisement from a distributor.

I use this app a lot. The UI dose need work. To many taps to get to things. Screw size is just one scroll wheel which is inefficient almost useless. The worst part is when you open the app there is a splash screen . I debated giving it three stars just because of it. GET RID OF THE SPLASH SCREEN!

Easy to understand and use. Every time I use it I learn something. Love the Advanced Type Calculations. Keep Up The Great Work. Loads Every Time for Me.

It has the basic stuff. But nothing for CNC or any advanced machining. I still have to break out the machinist handbook daily. All it does is simple math that your calculator can do. Waist on $10.00 I want money back....

I find myself grabbing this app daily. The new thread chart is a plus, keep the updates coming !!!

One of the best machinist tools I have. Just as important to me as a good indicator. Could probably use small graphical interface enhancements, but that is nitpicking. Easily worth the $10!

I have been Machining for 45 years and still refer to Drill Charts quite often. I think that your Program is really an awesome reference, but would be nice to have a Drill Chart in it. If I need a #31 drill to tap a hole, I still need to know what that is in decimals of an inch. Most small drills you can't read what number it is and to know what it is in decimals of an inch makes it easy to just use a micrometer to measure the drill. My micrometer doesn't measure numbers, letters or fractions of an inch. Please make that part of a future update and then you have a perfect Machinist Program. Thanks for creating this because it sure does have a lot of very useful information.

This is a great app for the machinist on the floor for quick reference at your finger tips. This app compliments alot of my own reference charts and common items in the machinist's handbook. Please keep it updated!

I will not pitch this to my customers any longer due to blatant distributor advertisement. Go back to a home screen that I will be happy to share.

I just cannot give Jim enough credit for his app. This app is surpurb and it worth every penny I spent on it and I can not wait until I see the next version. I have downloaded other types of programs, but this one blows the rest of them away. Many thanks Jim

Great little program, I use it because it's always in my pocket. I wish the developers would add a materials database with recommended speeds and feeds for hss and carbide.

Really great app! Works very well after latest updates! Starts every time with no issues. Jim is very responsive to emails and great at customer service! The one thing I was waiting on was the bolt circle calculator and he added that! Looking forward to future updates! Be careful about showing to coworkers because they'll be asking for your iPhone all of the time to utilize this app. I do use this app on almost a daily basis.

First off I would like to say that $10 was a bit pricy. That being said I think that this was a well thought out product. I held out to buy this version vs the first version. This will be used today at work so I might have an update later

I find this app to be the best of all choices. I have purchased four other apps to only get half of the utility this one offers. Enjoy ease of use, logical layout, unobstructed data entry. Nice to stay at work station and still access problem solving information.

This guy really made a user friendly app with almost everything you could possibly think of having. GREAT WORK!
