I use this on a regular basis to scan a doc then email where it needs to go. The only issue I have is that it takes a lot of space to save as a very good quality scan. I have to adjust it down a little if I've taken a number of scans & saved as a PDF then email it. If it's too large it won't send. I'm still good with it!

I use it for work. It’s great at copying docs quickly. It also removes shadows so it doesn’t look like a picture and just a scanned doc.

I've been using this App for my business and it works great and is easy to use. The scanned copies are typically fine but can be a bit grainy, so if you need high quality scan I wouldn't recommend. Also, sometimes can be tricky to get the document sizing correct. In leu of a fax machine this is easy to use and very convenient.

This app is great for scanning documents on the go. Sometimes you need a copy and there is no machine available. JotNot is here to save the day. Makes excellent scans.

This has been my go to tool to convert written documents, printed copies, photo cut-outs and other scans. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants a quick and easy scanner app. To scan some of the flat documents I try to use a glass sheet as a cover for better scanning and flatter documents.

I have to send contracts filled out in the field ASAP. I use the JotNot app to forward the contracts to my clients. Great simple app. My customers have never mentioned any issues with the JotNot attachments. I have been using the app for the past two years.

I don’t use my home scanner anymore. I rely on this app 100% of the time. Easily gets the job done.

Can’t say enough. I have multiple legal docs, receipts, forms to store and sometimes need to access on-the-go. Works real well- so convenient!!!! Highly recommended.

This is a great app I use it to scan documents when I’m not by a computer and on those rare occasions when somebody actually requires a fax I can do that as well.

Convenient but imperfect. “Email to self” option no longer functions. Scanned receipts often end up skewed and each sheet needs corner adjusting.

Quick, easy to use, files are small which is good, great edit tools. This is the one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This has become the defacto app for processing receipts for my work. It has become a valued tool on work trips. No more pieces of loose paper to keep track of; one PDF, synced to Evernote or Dropbox. Thanks to the developers. Can I ask for a means of commenting on the receipts in-line? Explaining receipts would be my only request.

Update. 8-18-18 love the app all linking is fixed. Box has stopped sinking I have notified them multiple times but their communication seems to be short of competent. Very annoying. I upload to box every single day. If they would have fixed this I would have given a 5. This is really killing me. Bad communication.

It saves the documents as PDF and they are always perfect. I heavily rely on this app for my business and am constantly scanning documents in my car to forward to clients . I love this app. I have been using it for over 2 years and never had an issue

JotNot has saved me in many situations and is generally the easiest scanner ever for my documents. I love being able to just take a picture of documents and have the option to send as PDF or jpeg, as well as have the app know when to add several pages together to make a full document rather than having to send separately. Highly recommend.

JotNot makes it crazy-easy and convenient to scan documents for storage, emailing, etc. Love how it squares up pages automatically, and clears up text.

I have a number of restaurants spread out over thousands of square miles and my managers need a reliable scanner for critical correspondence. I’ve supplied scanners for years, they all get broken or stop working or whatever. This app is perfect for that! Slight concern- after I bought it for everyone I learned that there are other apps that also scan business cards, saving the cards in the app and transferring the person to contacts in my phone. I use CamCard for that and it’s spectacular. Might even be better to separate the two but I wonder if one less app would be better? Don’t know but this is an outstanding and useful app. iPhones do have a built in free document scanner as part of the “notes” app but this is easier and more straightforward. I’ve tried the notes method but prefer this because all docs are saved in one place. Just be sure to name them after scanning for easier retrieval later. I’d buy it again.

If you were ever somewhere, or somebody asked you for an important piece of information, like Social security card, marriage license, drivers license, bank information, or any other important documents you may need in a PDF format, this is the app for you. Just snap a photo, and process it however you need. You can share it, save it, email, fax it, the options are nearly endless. It works every time with no problem. A highly recommended app for anyone who needs to keep important things with them digitally.

Has helped my efficiency. I'm able to scan notes on the spot and have them translated and put into our files immediately. Dont have to wait to be at office.

Four iphones later and I continue to use this awesome App at home and out. Developers continue to update and support. Highly Recommend for the person working from home or anyone that may need to fax, email, text or fax documents. Just used today while on vacation to send a 25 page fax to meet a big deadline!! Easy to use and enhance/crop/delete/retake the scanned documents to attach and send in many different formats.

JotNot app is the most amazing app!! It has completely changed my life for the better when it comes to work stuff. Truly the best app.

This app is great for taking pics of your documents and then emailing them as PDF files, as well as other types of files if needed. I can quickly take pictures of a multi page real estate P&L agreement, for instance, and email it. Also good for just saving documents that you want to have handy just in case. There's a fee for sending as a fax so I stopped using it for that.

I have had this app for about 7 years and it has proved to be 100% worth every penny. I have not only used it to scan receipts, but I have been able to scan and email legal docs on the fly (from my phone) because it saves files to a “legible” pdf format. This is definitely one of my top ten apps and it should be in your top ten too! ; )

It takes too long to received email... even when you are emailing yourself. Your better off saving the images and then sending them with out using the jotnot server. Sometimes I do not even get the email.

I purchased it exclusively to scan music for a music reader app. It really is great at straightening out scores from a book, which is a tricky thing to scan.

The app does what it’s supposed to do but former versions of JotNot behaved better - this version has a harder time handling mixed light situations - like sitting in the cab of a vehicle with various shadows and light present – the old version was fantastic at balancing and grabbing the image for a PDF conversion, this one performs mediocre. This one also automatically populates the body of a message with the URL for where to get the app - annoying. Every time I send an email with this I have to bother deleting that string of text. I’m sure there are improved features in this app over previous versions - I don’t use them - it seems to have come at a cost.

I bought this to fax documents that have already been scanned and needed to import to this app from another and it doesn’t give the option. Only to scan the document. Which I already have on my iPad. It says it integrates with google drive but doesn’t let you import them. This is frustrating as I already own a scanner in my home office, I need a fax app that I can import already finished documents to!

I’ve been using this app, and I’m pretty sure a free version of it prior for years now. Along the way I’ve tried others because as much as I like this app I want to make sure there isn’t something I’m missing out on that I didn’t know of. Now I did find others that do a great job, they exist. But this is the app for me, it’s so smooth and fast to use. I had a meeting last month where I was discussing with a client needed changes in their systems and everyone was adding and discussing items. I took notes and contributed to the conversation. Right after the conversation ended while everyone was chatting about others things I quickly added the notes to a pdf and emailed it to everyone in the meeting. The CEO came over and asked if I would type him up a copy of my notes because he saw me taking pictures of them. I notified him that I had just emailed them to him. A few seconds later he was blown away looking at the notes on his phone. He thinks I’m a magician or something because it looks like a perfect scan which phones could never do because it always comes out skewed. Thanks to this app I can quickly do amazing scans that impress my clients and helps me maintain my professional edge.

This so had completely replaced all manual scanners in my life. It corrects for parallax caused by the camera and allows for override. It easily creates a PDF that can be shared in a number of . Happy with this purchase.

I seriously can’t live without this. Scans FAR BETTER than the camera. “Re-straightens the document rectangularly even if its photograph was skewed (wasn’t shot perfectly head-on).

The only thing I wish it didn’t do is automatically put a link to the App into the email when you send it. Other than that it’s great!

Use this for saving special photos in iBook files and changing screen shots to PDF files for saving and emailing. Like the fact that I can take skewed photos & documents and make them look as though they were taken head on.

I use JotNot literally three or four times a day. It’s the simplest method for scanning documents into pdf format and recommend it to everybody.

Jot not is extremely useful. Makes clean PDFs quickly. I use it all the time!!

I find the ease of use to conduct scan was pretty good, however when completing editing I wasn’t sure exactly how to proceed to finish but got it done and key information sent off in time

Best Fax app I’ve found to date, this is well worth downloading and using for all your document needs. I’ve tried others but they don’t come close to this app which I’ve used for years (at least two). Five stars won’t be given lightly from me, however, kudos JotNot Pro, you deserve every one.

I can scan multiple pages. I can re-do a page if it doesn’t come out right & I don’t lose the previous pages scanned. I can change the file name as I’m saving it. I can email the file, upload to the cloud, or several other options. It takes good quality images and automatically uses the flash if needed, without changing my camera settings. My BF has tried other apps, and they are not as good as this one. It’s been so long since I even bothered with any other app—there’s just no point. This one does everything I need except maybe fax. But then again, that may actually be available & I’ve just not needed it.

JotNotPro works great! I use it all the time to copy my sheet music so that during chorus rehearsals, I don’t have to fumble for the next song’s sheets, instead I just look at the alphabetical list of songs on this app on my iPad. It’s very handy.

I use this tool all the time. I hate to lose receipts and I’m working toward paperless filing. This tool helps keep things organized. I can do photos or documents. I’m able to scan and email immediately. Definitely worthwhile to get the Pro version.

Fantastic I keep pictures of my important credit cards, AAA, Drivers License, Insurance Cards, Auto Registration etc Anything of record I might need to get to quickly I have here.

This app was suggested by my kids high school teacher. I downloaded it myself, and unbelievable how well it replaces having to look for a fax machine or scanner at work or home. Pros are portable, crisp reproductions, can combine multiple pages into a pdf “ JotNot “ File. Easy to attach to email, send to myself, business associates, etc. Cons believe it or not there aren’t any!

Each update makes an already wonderful app better and better, my no. 1 document scanner. One of my most used and dependable apps

Great for quick copies that I can file into different apps later. Works great for multiple construction projects.

Doesn't annoy me with "you need to upgrade because you've already used 3 scans and I need to get rich" memos!

I could not figure out how to email the scanned documents! Not user friendly!

This app has been fantastic for me to use! It has been a wonderful timesaver for me. Lately I have had the need to create a lot of PDF documents and prior to this app I had to go to a centralized copier and go through the steps of emailing it to myself. With this app I simply lay the document out on my desk take a picture which is essentially scanning it, hit another button and email it to myself. Could not be any easier. Nice job developers!

Easy. Works. Cheap.

I’ve been using Scanner Pro by Readdle but switched to JotNot Pro because I need color scans. It’s a good program with one inconvenience that I miss in the competitors - the ability for the software to automatically take the picture without having to press the photo button. Also it takes 1-4 seconds extra time for the border frame to select the outline of the document being scanned. But it’s got color! So I’m sticking with it.

Use it all the time when a fax is required

Very handy app that allows me to quickly take pictures to create a pdf to email or save. Timesaver!

Connects to drop box without issues. That was a huge concern for me and maybe you too.

Coupled with ForScore app it’s like hand in glove. Scanning with my IPad Pro , cropping, saving , it comes out better looking than the original many times. I do music mostly but even doing text even works well. Keep in mind: for straighter looking scans I prop up the IPad on a Music stand and work hard at keeping the 4 axes level ( top - bottom, Right - left of the IPad level ). JotNot seamlessly imports the pdf into ForScore in 2 steps. I love that you can scan multiple pages of the same score and it will assign page numbers to each page... I love JotNot !

Perfect always comes in handy

I used this program for all the legal documents & paperwork that needed to be signed and sent when we bought our house. Sent it to the mortgage company through this app. It was the best! Makes everything so easy and convenient.

Have used JotNot for many years. They keep improving it. Still has a few little glitches and delays but works well for my needs and has really been useful in many situations.

This is a fantastic app. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is bc sometimes the scanning is not very clear/a little light. Still wouldn’t trade it for any other app. Easy to use and dependable.

Love the program. Use it regularly to scan and send documents from my phone. Best for smaller files; full 8.5x11” aren’t great resolution (camera dependent) for printing but sufficient for notes or reference.

Love JotNot Pro! Scans easily and correctly 99% of time and the 1% problems usually due to user error,poor quality backgrounds or lighting - even then it’s easy to re-align edges or reshoot. Makes sending easy too with email or text and stores everything you do so you have access. 5 stars for sure!

Takes good quality scans. Image processing is good. It should support more file types.

I often have to send a pdf if information to a client and this app does it flawlessly! I highly recommend it!

But it incessantly asked me to rate it, even though I paid for this a while back. I don't want to write reviews, I prefer to speak with my wallet. Hoping this rating makes the requests go away. One star loss due to this issue.

Easiest to use ever portable scanner. Very precise, allows modifications, good color and brightness and can be emailed or faxed immediately!

This is a first class doc scanner app. Auto frames the document before scanning, and automatically removes shadows from the scanned image. Literally works better than my office scanner. Love it!

I use it almost every week! I teach at a college, and this app works as a charm to scan my answer keys to quizzes. I save them directly to Dropbox, and post them to our LMS from there.

This is a really handy app to have. I have used it to send documents to real estate agents, my accountant, my lawyer, and a whole variety of others. No need for a scanner with this in my pocket.

I would give it 5 stars based on performance alone-it would be great to be see fax info for faxes sent: ie-the fax number sent to and delivery confirmation so you can confirm where it was sent. I am a small business owner and this is one of only a few of my business apps that I have used continuously for the last 8 years since I first got it.

I use JotNot scanner everyday, and love its ease of use, and the great image quality.

I've used JotNot for over 5 years. One of the few apps that has survived the rest of time. Only shortcoming is sometimes, well somewhat often, the corners are not detected.

This little app is handy and easy to use.

I have been using since 2011. It does a great job open a new doc scan the pages in and it spits out a nice PDF of all the pages. Great for receipts for expenses or grabbing recipes out of cookbooks while killing time at an airport bookstore.

This app has saved me more than once now. It’s a terrific scanner and simple to use. I have been using it for several years now with no complaints. There may be newer apps out there-I wouldn’t know because I haven’t had the need to check.

For a field landman who needs to image records, this app is a gift. You can take multiple photos of pages, save those photos as a single, labeled PDF, and then email or upload those PDFs to iCloud, Dropbox, etc.

I’ve had JotNot for several years, and I never regret having purchased it in the App Store. It’s incredibly easy to use and interfaces well with other apps, like Dropbox. I don’t use it every day, but it makes a huge difference in the ease of tasks like getting reimbursed for a purchase or stitching together a PDF, because it eliminates the need for access to a scanner.

Perfect! Simple. Now that I'm using it more, I find uses for it present themselves I would not have expected before. School calenders and lunch menus for the kids, memos of all kinds at work as well as being able to instantly e-mail flip chart meeting notes to principal participants...teachers who have seen me use it have since begun using it to snap shot lessons and notes on whiteboards for posting to class websites... Your use of this product is limited only to your imagination and amount of print material you would like to share electronically. I love the feature allowing you to process different media in different modes to optimize resolution, exposure and contrast. Thank you for such a functional product...I will definitely be looking for any new products you guys come out with!
