When I quickly need to provide a date based on xxx days/weeks/months from some other date, this is my tool of choice. Couldn't live without it.

The app it self is a huge help at work. When explaining to my clients their time window it is a life saver. My only issue with the app is that it cannot be viewed landscape. If you have an app for iPad, especially if I have to pay for it I should have the option of how it is viewed.

Indispensable, I use it all the time.

I lock the first day and set the end date to today. What I really like is tracking as many events as I like. They can each have their title. I just launch the app, and my results i want are there in seconds.

I add to August 7,2014 6 Months, the result which I got is Feb 3 ,2015. While the correct calculations is Feb 7, 2015.by using other two Apps, could you clarify this.

Everything you want a time wheel to do is here, you can save wheels as well. Been using it for 3 years , and it has Been on my Home page every day of that time. Super Solid and useful for program management analysis on timing.

Very useful, well-designed app. Latest improvements look great. A little concerned about the one reviewer's observation that the month calculations aren't 100% accurate (more like 99.9% accurate) but the app does what I need--count days--perfectly. Ability to store and name calculations is awesome.

If you depend on an app that clearly shows accurate due dates, be careful with this app by ensuring you have the "include end date" properly set in settings. Many people don't include the beginning date, but do include the end date. (e.g. 3 days from July 3 is July 6, right? Not if you don't have the end date set correctly in this program.) This program automatically includes the beginning date and let's you set whether to include the end date. Turning end date on in the above example gives you July 5. The program should be a little clearer with the effect of this option.

This is a nice app. Very helpful when I'm working out my development schedules. A project manager's must have app.

Just what I was looking for. Works great & is very intuitive. Automatically brings up number pad to enter numbers. Well thought out app.

Nice, simple and fast. I don't have to search for the plastic wheel of old, I just reach for my phone. Useful for planning due dates, deliveries, vacation, special occasions. Only wish that it worked in landscape, but not a deal breaker.

I use it in more ways than I expected because it is such a quick and easy way to apply dates to time periods.

Does a good job of quick date calcs. Have had a couple of cases where long term dates have been off a day or two compared to a traditional wheel. Still a very valuable tool.

I use this app daily for work. My job requires me to calculate specific time points based on a starting date (3, 6, 28 mos out). I like that I can save each time point separately. What I would like to see is a way to use the same start date without having to put it into each of my saved time points. I would also like to see +\- (+ 2wks or - 2 wks from start date) if that's possible. All in all I'm quite happy with this app.

It needs to be updated for iOS 11 and iPhone X, but it works great and is a good date wheel calculator!

iOS 8 issue fixed. Works great now.

Finally an App to replace the old plastic wheel! And you can save and name the calculations to refer back to. Very handy in place of carrying around project timelines.

Very disappointed. Expected to use this on my iPad but does not work in landscape mode.

Keep track of days, business days, weeks, months until an event or since a significant event. It's a flawless little gem. Update: still lovin' it after 5 years.

I use a date wheel numerous times a day. The Date Wheel app works great. It even accounts for 2016 Leap year. Using the Date Wheel App is very easy and you don't misplace it several times a day like you do a manual date wheel.

I have thrown away all of the cardboard & plastic manual wheels-! This is the best app available. I use and refer to this app 12-15 times a day. If you don't have this app you are cheating yourself out of the best tool in the drawer.

Ability to build or modify calendars for work/non work periods would be the bomb. It's better than a date wheel by far

This app replaced my old plastic date wheel and is a great service to me as a project manager. It does everything I need it to do. It easily converts from days to weeks to business days. The flexibility to lock and unlock dates makes it easy to do quick "what if" scenarios.

This program works well for what I do-ascertain the number of days between two dates to calculate benefits to be paid. Easy to use. It's worth five stars to me. One issue: for my calculations, it's a day short. Put in today's date, then one day, and the date will still be today's date. One day from today is tomorrow. But that is what the paper date wheels do as well. Just beware.

Used this app back on my Palm PDA, use the heck out of it.

Don't buy it

Good app for tracking dates and durations. You can save your calculations on certain items for future use and review which I like and find helpful.

I take a lot of medication, which run out on all different days. So if I have 90 day with I put in the date it was refilled and put 85 days, I can set a reminder to call in and request a refill. However it can be used in many different ways besides tracking medication.

I've used the Date Wheel website for years. The app is even better! Purchase it for long life!

I use this all the time. Great functionality.

The company name “creative algorithms” is appropriate. It lets you use months, weeks, days for its measurement. But it appears to only use days to calculate. When I use dates to go for exactly 10 years measured by months, from the first day of one month to the 31st of the 120th month, the calculation shows me at 121.3 months. I don’t know if they’re still updating this app but it’s basically useless unless you’re calculating days apparently. RESPONSE: Creative Algorithms responded to me. They state that they indicate their interpretation of “months” is financial months. I’ll leave that to you to evaluate. It wasn’t that clear to me as of 11/2017.

I loved this tool until I found a major problem with the way the tool calculates months: 11/14/16 - 11/24/20 1472 days 4.032877 years 48.39452 months Plug these dates into the calculator and 49.06667 months are calculated!!! (This is because the tool is using 30 days/month calculation INSTEAD of the true 30.41667 days/mo over 12 months). I would give this tool 5 stars if there was not this algorithm issue. In my nature of work I need exact durations so sadly I cannot use it.

While some people have pages and pages of app; one for everything, I have only a few... I’m not not crazy about using my smart phone over living a real life... however, this app is used all the time in my world; strategic project management and execution. While I am a “tactile guy”, my date wheel is always in my pocket with this app. Easily worth the investment in exchange for the value received.

My company is a family business and I serve as the marketing manager for their 3 different businesses, this helps me tremendously, with shipping, budgets and planning. I'd like it to work with my calendar to show end date and start date events and options to skip major holidays and custom calendar entries. Perhaps smaller and larger increments of time, like hours and years. Not only is this useful for work but also other curiosities of time while off duty.

I use Date Wheel for my job. I have to check to see if clinical procedures are performed within the required time period and this little gem is invaluable!! Thanks!!

Does everything I need. Provides results that would be impossible with a traditional date wheel. I use it religiously for project planning & management.

I primarily bought the app to calculate the dates for my garden harvest. Once I had the app, I tried a sample calculation for my retirement date... When the results were off I tried the web version. I input my November 2007 start date, 360 months, the results were both June of 2037. Just ball parking the disparity, I'm guessing the month value is hard coded at 30 days. REALLY?
