This is a beautiful book app that introduces readers to life in India through a captivating and sweet story of 4 children and a magnificent train! I loved hearing the distinctive sounds of Indian musical instruments and imagining the flavors of Indian food. Great app!

I loved this app with it's beautiful illustrations and the story is magical. I was transported to India with the beautiful patterns and culture. The interaction and animation is amazing and it's a great learning tool for children to see the lifestyle and culture of other countries. I can't say enough good things about this app.

It is hard to describe how beautiful this book is! Amazing story, graphics and musics/sounds. LOVE also the security features so the little ones do not get in trouble! I wish more developers were that conscious about those important details. The BEST kid book I have seen so far! Highly recommended.

For our kids, its our duty to expose them to cultures, places around the world. And here's an app that exactly does that, with help of great narrative and beautiful graphics. Whats not to like about it?

This is a great ebook for kids. It has very nice graphics and my boy ,though he is a bit too young for such a book, loves the interactive parts. As someone that visited india , all the graphics a great colors really reminded me of my visit there . I highly recommend it !!!

This app is really well done, the pics are beautiful and it great for my son that struggles with reading.

My family loves this app. The little ones never tire of the story with the colorful images and interactive animations. The story is a great look into another culture, and you feel the emotions of the characters. Excellent app for kids of all ages.

I would recommend this app to users who are wanting an intriguing, interactive, engaging application focused on a story line that is applicable and necessary for all young readers to partake in. This app would allow the user to ask questions, gain knowledge, build vocabulary and work on fine motor skills throughout. This is a great application, especially with the 3D components!

This book designed for young persons should highlight words when they are read. Doing so helps those unable to read the text themselves by putting spoken words into the visual text which helps them read later on in life.

My kids thoroughly enjoyed this book. Having it placed in a real country and being able to educate my kids while they had fun about a different culture was great. They really loved the music and I would love to see more or interact more with the native music. There's recipes and being able to choose the style of how to read was great as well. The parents section was great and having the extra security of leaving out of the app by having to 'do something' like add or answer a question helped as well - so I don't have to worry about my kids sending e-mails to the developer. This story was enchanting without being a told-again fairytale. I really enjoyed actually interacting and having dialogue with my kids about this book - as it opened up a slew of questions and curiousty. I highly - no STRONGLY recommend this book. You'll really enjoy it and love the illustrations - and your kids if they choose the 'read to me' option will be able to understand it and hey, it's a man's voice which I have found unusual in the book apps. I really cannot say enough great things. It was really a "MAGNIFICENT" :-) so happy to have found it and joyful beyond words to have had the opportunity to share this book and opportunity of learning about another culture on a childs level with my two kids (ages 5 and 6 and both with varying special needs/medical conditions). Enjoy!!! Five Stars ALL THE WAY! ♥

This is a lovely, engaging story app. Its colorful illustrations, captivating sceneries, and descriptive language draw you in, making you feel as if you're actually visiting the city and discovering the sights and sounds of a new culture. This interactive book appeals to all ages; my family and my elementary school students will be returning to it again and again.

The Magnificent Travelling Palace is simply amazing. Much thought and love has been put into the development of this story, evident in the tiniest details and thoughtful pieces of information presented about this culture. Readers will feel this journey through the eyes of the 4 children in this story. I was impressed by the beautiful pictures, interactive qualities and story line. Children and parents will enjoy all the extra additions such as getting to know the cast or using the recipes given. The information button is easy to use, and had a neat addition I have never seen before, a page guide to let parents know what interactive qualities are on each page. To access more info or other apps parents must follow the directions in the parent section. This story is a perfect way to introduce students to the culture of India and show the beauty of its country.Highly recommend this story.

This is a fun tale of 4 kids on a train adventure, with 3d images and animation, voiceover, music and tons of interactive features. Well-thought out and easy and fun to use!

It's a wonderfully illustrated story book app showing the world of India. My daughter just loved playing this app and my wife enjoyed the Indian recipe.

Wonderful story, lovely animation, and very educating. The kids (6 and 8 y/o) loved it, but as important, my wife and I loved it, too! For only 1.99, that was cheaper and easier then taking the kids to the nearest book store:) Well done!
