I love this app! It’s a little dose of living truth in old-fashioned writing that brings me back to another time, yet inspires me for today!

A very good presentation of Spurgeon's work "Morning and Evening", and an app that I use daily. Very encouraging stuff! If you like this one, also check out another of Victor Goh's apps "Faith's Checkbook-Daily Devotional" (again, authored by Spurgeon). I'm still waiting on other devotionals by guys like C.S. Lewis, Jonathan Edwards, Richard Baxter, etc. Great job!

This app is a real disappointment. I purchased this intending to use the audio feature - after listening to one evening commentary I can't believe how poorly done it is, with a "robot" -like sounding voice having no emotion or sense of empathy - as could have been if done with the voice of a real person. The audio function of this app is a discredit to Spurgeon's timeless classic.

I love these devotionals by Spurgeon! They are deep, thought provoking, and challenging. They bless me immensely and I in turn use them to bless others.

I really like this app. It reminds me to read my morning devotional. The Moring and Evening devotional by CH Spurgeon is my all time favorite. CH Spurgeon always offers a thought that I can think on throughout the day.

This is how I begin and end my day. I enjoy this daily devotional and the message is always good.

I love the concept of this app; however, the devotional text is obviously a translation to English and not a very good one. Reading was difficult because of improper English usage and so I no longer use this app. Disappointing !

This is a most profound daily inspiration . Goes perfectly with my coffee each day . Love it .

The voice synthesizer is TERRIBLE! It's the only reason I chose this app over the others available and it sounds like a robot and very impersonal with no inflection. But I'm accustomed to the Bible.is voice that has much feeling and enunciation. Would NOT recommend.

Read and learn

Spurgeon has a way of taking such deep theology and making it so simple and beautiful. The Spirit uses Spurgeon’s words to convict me and encourage me every single day. I am so grateful to have this so easily accessible because it truly has made such a difference in my morning and night time quiet time routines!

I just love this app and its handiness. As you move forward, please consider adding the ability to highlight! There are so many things I would love to mark to jump out at me. That addition would make this app 5 stars!

A good way to worship God’s love.

It’s so great to have the classics available on my devices. Charles Spurgeon nails it every time, and to have access to it makes my devotion time so much stronger.

I’m totally bed patient except for very short time in a wheelchair; I have been encouraged by each lovely photo and soul warming meditation and scripture.

I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that when you go from the free version to the paid version, any bookmarks or notes you have don't carry over to the paid version. I hope that will be fixed some day. I’m now giving this two stars. I’m really disappointed that you no longer have the ability to cut and paste into the the ‘notes’ tab, and you no longer have the ability to see your bookmarks. I really miss those features from the older version.

The only improvement I would love to see is to link up with The Prince of Preachers from Sermon Audio for the audio readings of these excellent devotionals.

I’m 82 years old, and in my adult life have never discovered a better selection of Bible-centered devotions. Charles Spurgeon is one of the greatest preachers of all time and these devotions are a clear indication of his spiritual depth and Spirit-led interpretation of Scripture! These selections, (morning and evening, 730 in all) are the closest thing you may ever find to miniature daily sermons! For the Christian or the one searching for reasons to become a Christian, these devotions are priceless in their teaching, daily guidance, and interpretation of numerous passages of Scripture. I must add that the App is also very professionally designed with options that should appeal to your personal tastes. Had this App for quite a few years. I have daily devotions emailed to me and have used the Topics section for inspiration and study.

I know of no other preacher that knows the Lord as Charles Spurgeon did; moreover, God gave him a unique ability to express the love that God has for us in His Word. This is my favorite app that starts and ends my day!

The Morning and Evening devotional shows Charles Spurgeon’s commitment to faithfully and eloquently lift up the holy works of our Lord and Savior. His treatment of God’s Word never ceases to amaze as he makes timeless application of it to the lives of mankind.

It’s no YouVersion Bible, but it’s good.

Sometimes, as I read the Daily Collection, my heart is moved to tears!

I live this simple app. I would only change the voice to male since Spurgeon was such. I have found that there is not the entire entry from Morning And Evening.

This used to be my favorite devotion app and also loved the option to share on facebook. But all features no longer work. So this has been reduced to a personal app only. Total junk

These scriptural reflections by Spurgeon sound as if he just read today’s news.

This app helps me abide in Him. I love it!

Daily nourishment of the Scripture and edifying commentary accompanied by prayer and open-handed Christ-centered service....is an unbeatable formula for spiritual health!

Overall this is a good app and I like that I can select the Bible version like the KJV. The only thing I would like is to be able to copy select portions instead of the entire article.

The app is very well written and the devotional is one if the vast available.

The font is just the right size without a lot of other distraction on the page making it easy to read.the app always opens to just the right page.
