Love it

Works great but is very buggy, especially with mangadex. I have had this app for years but it still has many of the bugs it always had, if anything the bugs have gotten worse.

The app keeps crashing on me. No matter how much manga I read, it's still not stable. I'm starting to believe it's the newest update at this point.

I love it, the quality is always good. But can u please give some more good websites with manga because some manga like Jojo and Toriko are in bad quality.

The best app to read manga on hands down!! I’ve used many other ones and I always come back to this one and I’ve been using it since it first came out.

I plan on buying the full version when my check deposits, but it’s easy to use, has manga available (through third party websites) that is both new and old!

I'd love it more if I could search by ranking, I got lucky to find 3 in the top 20 that I just happen to be reading. Now even less website are actually working with the app so it’s probably time to update.

Nothing beats this app for reading manga. Enter URL and simple as that. Keep a library to reread and keep a catalogue of everything you want. Does the work for you and leaves you free to jump between manga or binge a single one without the tedium of using a hosting website. 10/10

I use this for American comics mainly, and it works perfectly. No crashes at all. The interface for adding comics takes a bit to get used to but it’s not a big deal.

when on ipad and using cmd tab to try to switch to another app nothing happens.... this is really annoying... it works in all other apps... please fix this

I downloaded the app, the user interface looks pretty easy and it was, but I decided to purchase the unlocked version because I will be on some pretty long flights tomorrow morning, my bank account shows that I purchased it, but the app itself won’t allow me download anymore chapters because it still shows that I don’t have the unlocked version.

This app is useful for when I want to read my mangas I enjoy. The websites are the full sites and it is annoying. They should have app sites instead but overall a great way to keep up.

I am unable to add and read manga from Mangadex. I already verified the web cache from IWB, but it still doesn’t work.

Honestly it's a good app and once you get past learning it, it's very easy and simple. I've used it for years but never got the full (paid) version, and now I don't regret buying . I can literally have all the chapters of any manga I upload to it at any time (with or without paying for the full version) . Downloading is even more convenient for when I don't have service so this is really great and I truly enjoy it (benefit of paying).

Yeah, quite a lot. In the beginning was incredible, it was BY FAR the best manga reader app for mobile. There is a problem growing bigger each day: the list of supported websites. Most of the supported websites are dead, and the few that are alive take too long to upload new chapters, and don’t even upload some manga that are hot right now...

So far the app is good. Can you add in MangaRock.com in the supported websites?

Literally $4 gets you UNLIMITED MANGA, find me another app that does that. Been using mangastorm since its initial release and have never looked for anything else.

Lacks basic functions, you have to do it all manually. Might as well use your browser.

I like it would give it a 5 star if I could upload my own manga/comics for us that purchased the full version and I could see the clock other than that I recommend it to my friends

I love this app a lot. I use to keep up to date on the different mangas I read. It’s easy to use and convenient. I enjoy the option to download the mangas making them available to read while offline. Great app and thanks for the work.

For the past year or more that I have used this app it has worked great for me. But after this last update, it seems that all the manga titles, especially those from mangadex loaf very slowly. Don’t know if this a problem in my end, or the website/developers end but other wise the app is great.

No longer updating new manga

There is no better manga APP I’ve ever used quite like this one. You can download chapters for free without a cost. Ads pop up after you leave the manga you are reading but that’s it. I’m telling you this app is worth everything.

I have been using this app for 4+ years now and it is great. The free version of it can get annoying with ads, but the app itself does everything you'd need without any unnecessary flash. I paid for it about a year ago and it got even more smooth and easier to use. In one instance of me getting a new phone, I lost all the mangas I read (about 15) but this app has cloud syncing and it returned all my mangas and my progress in them. I would highly recommend trying this app.

Has a great library of manga. Many popular titles as well as lesser known titles. I highly recommend this app.

So far my fav manga reading app on iOS. Very light weight. Wish they add a feature to browse sources without the web browser. Would make life easier

Buggy. Not available pages load frequently leading me to have to reopen chapters over and over until it actually works.

Not entirely sure what happened to the old manga storm but having to set up manga databases manually through websites is a pain; especially if you have users that have no concept on how to do it. Not here to ask to fix it, just saying; one use to launch the app and there would be troves of resources, so why ruin it by doing this?

This is a great app for reading manga. It supports multiple sources for finding manga as well as downloading. The controls for viewing and options are all great. The ads that are seen without paying are non-intrusive and do not appear while you are reading. Perhaps the best feature of this app is the ability to lock the screen orientation in landscape mode, which is only possible in app (not an IOS iPhone option- you can only lock orientation to portrait).

It has quite a few options for which sites you can pull manga from. Load time for manga is fast and haven’t had any problems with it. The ads can be annoying and not being able to sort your mangas in any way is also annoying.

The best manga app, after years of service I can definitely say this is a reliable app, I even bought the paid version twice, the team seems to work hard to make the app better and is worried more about functionality than having a modern looking app which is great for something like this, thanks

Still having issues viewing the chapters I’ve been reading. It was the constant recaptchas at first but even after the update I can’t open my mangas. Love the app otherwise though

Love the app and how easy it is to use right out of the bat. Tho only a small gripe is when using comic books loading onto app like manga it’s saying use browser in app. Also recently app has been saying can not receive content from web source which I know they will fix. Other then those I say this is a app that all users need in there life.

I’ve tried them all and this is simply the best manga reading app out there, and it’s regularly updated. The ability to follow hundreds of current manga releases and archive old manga from 10 of the best manga sites is unequaled. In addition the ability to download thousands of manga chapters for offline viewing as well as saving the files onto your computer permanently can only be done with this app. It also hardly ever has bugs. Edit:I’ve used this app for years and in the past 10 months it feels like this app has become very buggy. I get a lot of not available screens on pages in chapters and then I refresh the chapter and it loads fine. I have to restart the app multiple times to get some chapters to load. Also the app crashes about once a day. My 5 star review is now a 1 star review until they address these obnoxious bugs.

And it’s the absolute best option on iOS. Period. But the ads are just super aggressive! I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m all for supporting the dev. But when ads are designed to trick u into clicking, that’s just shady. For crying out loud a bunch of these ads now have the “x” hidden too. That’s absurd. The second you back out of a manga you get slammed by 1-3 freaking ads. There’s an option to pay to remove the ads. But I refuse to give someone with shady practices any of my money. Devs, I will go pro as soon as you stop this predatory and dishonest behavior

Great app, but took too long to figure out. I’ve had the app since it came out, so when they had such a big update I was super confused. You’re supposed to open the internal browser and put in a manga website. I’m so silly! Great app once you figure that out!

Easily one of the best apps for reading manga. The free version allows access to just about everything you’d want, though limits what can be downloaded on the go. But paying for the full version give full access and unlimited downloading for a really cheep price.

I initially got this app to read JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, but I found this app so amazing that I bought the unlocked version and now I read all kinds of manga every day. Literally no complaints or suggestions to make the app better. It’s amazing. The skin/interface screams 2010 though.

This is by far the best manga app, and even the free version is great, but getting to load your own sources gives you the flexibility to use other websites when your main source gets your manga removed. Loads quickly and allows you to even set your manga to download automatically with every update for offline reading. Such a good feature and necessary for so many people. Works perfect on a tablet as well. And has iCloud back up so if you get a new phone it automatically saves all of your manga you put sources on in your iCloud storage, just download the app and it’s all there, you just have to re-download the manga, no biggie.

You can't actually download them. Whenever I read chapters I've "downloaded", I occasionally have to wait for a quick loading screen. What's more, if I try to read a "downloaded" chapter without internet, I can't open it; the app just gives an error message about not having internet.

Please make a two page feature for landscape mode

I have been using manga storm for years now. You all have enabled me to read stories I love at just the whim of opening my iPhone, and I thank you for that. I recently just upgraded to the xs max from the 7, even though it’s slight, it looks great on the xs max with all the space to really display a page. I’ve used manga storm on about 3 generations of iPhone and I hope it remains that way for years to come. Thanks for the hard work!

This user interface is extremely outdated, it hasn’t been updated since launch, 6 years ago. It’s extremely ugly.

The app functions nicely, just wish the UI was nicer

I went through a couple of apps trying to find a good one and this one really allows for uninterrupted reading.

I am running the most current software for IOS and Mangastorm yet I am unable to download offline from Mangadex. I have purchased the full version of mangastorm and created an account with mangadex. I followed the instructions of changing my settings from Reader to Legacy within the app browser and reloaded the series that I want to download, Konjiki no Gash, and mangastorm will not download the series. Please look into this, thank you.

some pages aren't loading at all and it takes away the whole purpose of me having this app.

This app is great, I love it, but mangadex isn’t working anymore, the ones I have won’t load from there and I can’t use the links anymore. Pls help.

This app has been my go-to manga reading app for the past years. That’s the main reason I don’t want to drop the app to 3 stars. But, after the recent updates, I have been experiencing little problems throughout the app. For instance, 1. On the MangaHere website, there is a small little square video ad. Why is it there? Out of all my years using it, the annoying ad was NEVER there. It definitely gets in the way when you try to zoom into the manga list. To make sure I’m not just blaming this app for this issue, I checked and used the website on safari to make sure it’s not the MangaStorm’s fault. However, it is not! The ad does not pop up on the MangaHere Website when I use it to test! Please FIX THIS. (Yes, I have paid for the paid version of this app.) Of course there is an “X” button to close it, but imagine trying to do that to EVERY page because it shows up again after the next page in the manga list. If you don’t close it, then once zoomed it blocks the mangas. (Frustrating) I don’t see why there are ads considering I paid to get rid of them. 2. Like many users, when I read any manga, there are consistent chapters that show error in the pages being unable to load. I’m talking about this problem happening consecutively! Every 2 chapters or so 20-30 pages have popped up this error page! My WiFi is connected at full bars and i have also tried to restart the app. The problem still comes back when I use the app throughout the day. Fixing this would definitely make me enjoy the app more like it used to be before the updates. 3. Add more websites. Although there is many to choose from, I can’t seem to like them as much as the ones I frequently use. (MangaPark, MangaRock, etc.) That’s all. (:

Great app for reading manga easy. I have only used the free version but I really enjoy it! Can be a little confusing initially, but other than that it’s great!

Beside manga reading websites put in more comic books reading websites and if these are not supported then do something about it.

It’s fine and all - the format is great and convenient. No issues there. But the fact that I’ve had to re-download the ONE manga that I’m reading every time I’ve opened it is ridiculous. - Is it kissmanga that’s goofing up, or is it this app?

The ability to choose what source to get your manga from and downloading them is worth it.

I wish that the IWB had better integration. Same with reading progress. I wish that titles could be grouped together from different site sources. Now that Batoto died, I no longer know what my progress was on any of my titles I followed.

I can’t stress how much I love this app, It doesn’t have a manga catalog instead you can take manga from a manga website, and put the link in then read your manga with the apps manga reader its a lot easier to use than using safari.

So all my manga from kissmanga specifically can’t be read now... it was working fine till today, what happened? Normally a easy 5* app when working.

I haven't used this app for long but everytime i try to download a story it doesn’t allow me to add it to my inventory and I don't know why.

The low rates are because this app used to integrate manga lists into the app, you could search and find them easily. .. However thanks to Apples policies regarding adult content half of the manga were "unavailable". By removing them from the app they no longer need to block them, which is better since half of manga are kinda nsfw-ish since Japans just like that. Just find a site you like, copy the link and paste it in, it takes 2 seconds. This app works perfectly it's amazing

Best manga app ive ever used

No invasive adds, easy as pie to use. A prettier interface would be nice but all in all 5 stars easy.

After the demise of MangaReader, this jumped to my list of best manga apps.

Overall it's a great app. Simple but all necessary functions are included. Sadly selection of supported manga sources are limited with no ability to add own parsers. It would be great if developers would add such a feature.

I remember buying this app as a young teenager with a Christmas gift card, and now I am an adult. It has become the second most used app on my phone! Everything works smoothly, and I love it. Although, I wish there was a dark mode and the app would support other languages besides English.

Pages are saying Not Available and pages are not uploading fasts enough. I’m having to switch sources every now and then.

I’m very confused on how to use the app and I don’t quite understand the whole deal.

This app is perfect, but one thing that would be cool is to sort by the date you added them to your list.

I absolutely love this app. It is amazing in every way. It’s easy too add manga to reading list, easy to read with the zooming feature, and the download feature is very helpful! I initially used free version to get a taste, but I decided to increase my download cap and support the creators for their amazing work and bought full! I would 100% recommend this app to anyone looking to read manga easily on the go, anytime anywhere.

Only problem I find now is that I got the iphonexr and the manga is kinda split between some pages and it end up looking weird and unreadable sometime with the hot fix it will be perfect

Used to be a great manga app that could get from many websites easily to read. Then changed and became manual do it yourself. Even if you link from websites, doesn’t always get the results or messes up and get get from website (very frustrating when missing chapters or can’t read through app!). Would be amazing if can use cross platform and all devices and brands. Bugs, glitches, crashes, along other issues are to be expected, but they rarely update this app, could be the best out there if they apply themselves more.
