It would be great, simple format and easy to use...IF it actually worked. So far it has only found about 2 or 3 books out of about 30 books, using the scan barcode. They're not obscure or hard to find books either. I'm having to enter all the books manually, and seeing as I have several hundred books, that's a real pain and very time consuming. I was hoping after having paid so much for this app that it would work well. It has potential but the database is ridiculously small apparently. It didn't even recognize my Game of Thrones book.

I seriously don't understand why this app is not more popular it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Books, movies, game, toys, household appliances, electronics, clothes, catalog and organize them all, you can even make custom categories. Keep track of what you have lent out, where you bought it, and how much it costs! The barcode scan can be wrong sometimes but everything can be easily edited or just entered manually. Trust me you have no idea how much you need this in your life.

I added in a small portion of my book collection and adding large series out of order doesn't work because one can't reorganize them how they want them. Also I tried to use the "loaned" feature and the book simply no longer appears, but when I try to get it back it says I already have that book and asks if I want to duplicate. Then I thought to search in my library for it and nothing appeared. It's just a hassle to use.

I’ve had this app for a few years and it worked great. After I upgraded my phones and opened the app, it no longer works. All the book covers have disappeared. It no longer find my books. I contacted the developer but nothing.

I've had this app for several years now, and I'm simply aghast at how infrequently it's updated. Most of my incredulity stems from how frequently the app crashes. You would think that after the continual cessation of smooth operations, and the manifold ways in which the app runs amok, that the developers would step in per perform some kind of electronic resuscitation! The basics of the app work fine, but every time one tries to add a book, or search the Internet for fresh cover art, the system simply fails...over, and over...and over again. The sluggishness you'll experience throughout the rest of this exalted piece of malware would be excusable IF the manifold crashing could be tempered with some semblance of regularity. To leave such a mess on the market with such neglect is incomprehensible to me.

When I first got this app, I thought it was wonderful, but after recent upgrades, it’s gotten worse. New releases can’t be found by scanning bar code. Now I can’t even enter a DVD manually.

App crashes every time I try to add a book. Can't use it at all.

Would give zero stars if was an option. Bought the app and the first seven books I scanned did not work but they worked in my other app like this one. Was very disappointed as I liked the idea of seeing on the front screen how many books I had loaned to friends. Waste of money.

Tool bar at the bottom is missing with iOS 11 Update.

I had purchased the app ages ago and had built up my movie library to over 600 movies...got a new phone and tried to transfer the info and it wouldn't load...only about 400 or so movies showing on the online save. Tried to start rescanning into the new phone and it freezes any time I try scan a bar code. I've messaged app support twice and gotten no response. Not happy at all.

Didn't know how else to report, but since the last update the app will not open on my Apple iPhone 4S. I opens for a brief second, and then miniaturises into the background, like when you want to switch to another already open app. If you try to click on it, it will pull up and then go right back down again. Thus, I cannot use it at all right now on my iPhone. Please fix soon. Thanks.

Began adding in books, scanning and then having to use the isbn numbers because so many were "unknown". Then began to close repeatedly so no data added. Very frustrating.

I had an earlier version which worked passing fair. With this upgrade, the "Scan" feature no longer functions meaning ALL data must be manually entered. It's a very fine concept, but sadly it's a major fail. I might as well enter my data in a 'spreadsheet' program. I'm still looking for a reasonably priced home library app.

I was really excited to start using this app, but I am totally disappointed. After 5 minutes of use, the app started crashing each time I scanned a book into my library. This app will be great once the issue is (hopefully) resolved.

Purchased this app to organize my home library, big mistake. The app has not worked manually or scanning the barcode.

You hold thousands of my titles in ransom. Would like notification if you don’t plan to keep this app current. It has gone from crashing every few minutes to now not even opening. I spent countless hours, days, adding titles.

Initially I was really happy and this seem to be the solution to on my book cataloging works – then one day I open the app and the bottom navigation bar was completely gone. the only thing available to me was the ability to sync with the cloud. Are you even tried deleting and then reinstalling the app to no avail

I love this app I have all my movies and now putting my music and books in it. I have one problem, I have the iPhone 6plus and every time I open the app I have a blue square in the middle of the screen. Not sure if just mine phone??

I've had this app for a while, and it used to work alright. I tried to add some recent additions to my movie collection and the barcode scanner no longer works! Kinda useless without the scanner....sent in an email to the developer, but I'm pretty much convinced that I wasted $9.99

I’ve had this app since I’ve had an iPhone 3GS. Which has been a while. I’ve greatly enjoyed it. I do think it could use some help. For instance, it doesn’t always find the correct book. Usually though I can search online for it, and find the one that I have. It generally finds the correct movie title, but often enough I have to search manually for that too. Not as often as for the books, but often enough. I do still love this app though, and I will continue to recommend it to people.

I got this app several years ago with one goal in mind. To inventory my collection of books, movies & games. Initially it worked great. Over the years I have expanded what I inventory as the app allows you to great your own lists. However, with each upgrade it seems like the performance of the app gets worse & worse. Just about everything I add to my lists has to be entered manually as the scan barcode & online search seem to only produce blank results. I only continue to use the app because I have already invested so much time entering items & don’t find another app with quite the same capabilities. This app has so much potential, but falls just short of fulfilling them.

App crashes when I scan a barcode to add a book

I've scanned several books. No results. Finally got a newer H.P. Lovecraft book to scan and it shows up as a novel from the Halo video game series. Waste of $3

When you import a book’s information, it doesn’t know it’s a book. So you have to tell it it’s a book and you have to do this for each book. Collections? Can’t figure how to get existing items into a collection. Only new items. UI needs work.

I download this app years ago and it worked great at the time. I don't know if it is slow now because I have over 1000 books or because the updates have ruined it. It takes ages to load and doesn't find my books as easily as it did in the beginning. I'm kind of getting the feeling that it's been abandoned.

App has problems retaining data (books input are later missing from the list). I've tried syncing after entering each book, but the problem continues. Disappointing, as this is a system I could really use.

It is always something with this app. My inventory is all there via the web, and it used to be on my iPad also. Now there is nothing in the iPad app, I can’t register, many links do not work on the website, restoring from dropbox doesn’t work.

I live this app. Have used it for years. Scans and finds most of the books. I have 680 books scanned and probably had to enter only 10 manually. I would have given this 5 stars but the desktop version needs work. You can’t edit books already entered - if you want to change the collection or location, etc. I sent an email to customer service but didn’t get a reply.

Loved the concept- but can't register and now have not been able to contact the developer for a fix or a refund!

Started out working great, then it stopped finding anything. It reads the bar codes and says it can’t find the information. I tried entering the code manually, nothing. I tried the title, nothing. IPad is connected to the internet. I sent a message to the makers, no answer. Wasted money getting it. Live and learn. Don’t bother getting it.

I personally have had a good experience so far with this app. I have the desktop app too and I love the UX design for both. I think it is intuitive and nice to look at. It is really nice to have the data stored in the cloud so I can sync it across my devices. Scanning barcodes has worked fine for me for mainstream books, and the Google search works for ones that don't scan. I've only had to manually input once. The valuation feature is nice too, and will be useful for insurance. Overall I am very pleased with this app.

Was a great app until the last 2 updates . The app has locked up and will not respond to anything. I have over 2500 entries and now I can't get in to see any of them . I emailed the app help person but he didn't help.

This would be an excellent application if the Developer would give it some attention from time to time. For instance, it appears as though the functionality of the scan barcode stops connecting to the database Of movies… Returning the error code that the movie was not found. If the developer would check in once in a while on the application, He/she would notice that the database is disconnected and they could reset it. This app is virtually worthless if you have to enter in all the data manually by hand each time. When the app disconnects from the database, the only way to enter a new entry is manually doing it.

Every time I try to scan a book barcode the app crashes. Technical support is nonexistent and my emails about this issue remain unanswered. Don't waste your money.

When it works, it's buggy. When it doesn't, well it really doesn't! Latest update shows I have zero inventory after hundreds of items input in previous versions.

Extremely slow, crashes constantly, no place to put email or phone to contact those who have books out, not user friendly. Wish I could get money back as was so hopeful I purchased it for nonprofit I worked with. Back to the drawing board

The app crashes while trying to scan ISBNs, take pictures, or move items from one category to another. It has a difficult time finding cover art; thumbnails still appear grey even after taking a photo of the item. There is no search for stock cover art option from the scan screen. Wish I hadn’t paid for this!

Used this app faithfully. A few weeks ago went to add new movies with scan option and returns with nothing. Also the search online feature doesn't work. Because of the lack of interest and failure to reply to msg on this form as well as emails in regards to support and updates I will no longer be supporting home library. For recommendations I suggest looking up iCollect. Maybe a little pricy but they seem to care about there customer base and have a lot more to offer.

So I thought I would take a chance and get this app--huge mistake! Ever scan came up "unknown" and it is constantly crashing!!! Seriously, it crashed at least 10 times in a period of less than three minutes. Hopefully an update will fix these problems but until it does, stay AWAY from this app!!!

This app is a work in progress (or they have just given up). 9 out of 10 attempts to scan books crash the app. More money lost to deceptive marketing.

I used to love this and have hundreds of things scanned in. Now, however, whenever try to scan something the whole thing crashes. It us completely unusable.

I've gone through a few apps over the years to find the best at keeping an inventory of all my books. This one just squashes the competition.

I downloaded the app to my Mac (paid) and on my iPhone. Although I can register my Mac, I can't register my iPhone. I keep putting in the info, and nothing happens. I've tried to delete and re-intall the app, but no luck. Ready to ask for my money back.

I had been using this app since more than 2 years now. Great to have your books, movies and allied collection all in one place. However, the updates are actually backwards. Previous version was so much better while selecting an image for a blu ray, or changing its name. In the newer version, when a new item is scanned successfully, it disappears into library and then you have to search it in the library to modify it. Next, the image selection tool is terrible. Previous versions had so much better choices when you scan the web for the blu ray image. What are they doing? The price tool is also askew in the latest version. Previously they used to pull the prices from amazon. Now when you scan a blu ray, the price displayed is $0!!! Bottom line: all the good features of older editions have vanished or changed for worse. Please make the necessary updates to keep this app as good as it was before.

The best app for cataloging all you media

This product has not worked in 6 months. After having had to buy versions for all my devices. I have to use the website for everything. Do not waste your money

I like the app and the features, love that you can scan barcodes but still manually change the information and can make bulk updates via csv. But the app is very buggy. Often won't let me tap "done" to exit the scanner camera screen, forcing me to close and restart the app, then appears to lose entire contents when app is completely closed. I backed up before this first happened, so I'm lucky I didn't lose all my hard work of scanning. Often fails to scan barcodes and can't continue to try the next barcode after one fails. I had several barcodes that it was unable to locate, but I think that was because I was accidentally pulling from Australian data source at first (I'm in US). If it weren't for the losing data when completely closing app, it would be annoying but usable, but I can't restore from backup every time I'm forced to restart the app especially since I'd lose all my new changes. Hope to see some major bug fixes soon, after which I'd gladly try again and re-review.

Still cannot close batch upload - you have to force the app closed. Emailed the developer for about a year now so I figure he will just never respond or attempt to fix it.
